Case # [redacted]
Dear [redacted] and Better...

Business Bureau,
We installed a security system in[redacted] home approximately three years ago and also provide monitoring to his home for around $36 per month. [redacted] contacted our office to inquire about scheduling service on his security system. He explained to [redacted], Vice President of Over-All Electric LLC that he was in the process of selling his home and had hired a home inspector to test the viability of his security system. In this process, the inspector disabled a zone and was unable to repair it back to its original programming. [redacted] needed service to repair this zone and he was told that we were several weeks out for scheduling a repair call. [redacted] told [redacted] that due to our tight schedule he would try to contact another security system company in an effort to assist him with the problem. [redacted] in fact did contact another company, [redacted] with [redacted], and [redacted] said that he would contact [redacted] to assist him with his problem. It should be noted here that [redacted] does not work for Over-All Electric and he is in no way associated with our company. When [redacted] did not contact [redacted] , he became insistent and started emailing and texting [redacted] several times per day, in an effort to entice[redacted] and Over-All Electric to repair his security zone. [redacted] even went so far as to threaten legal action and initiate complaints to the Revdex.com if we did not respond. At this point, [redacted] stopped responding to [redacted]. Here are the facts of this case which need to be noted for the record and for its resolve.
1 OverAll Electric LLC, installed a security system for [redacted] around December, 2012.
2 Warranty of the system is for 90 days manufacturing defects, and one year for workmanship per the monitoring agreement.
3 It is December, 2015.
4 At the completion of the job, [redacted] elected to retain our company for the purposes of monitoring his system. Basically this means that if an alarm goes off at his property, the monitoring company notifies the appropriate jurisdiction.
4. The security system that we installed has worked flawlessly for three years and we have never heard from [redacted] until he hired the home inspector to test its viability.
5. The system is no longer under warranty.
6. [redacted] does not have a maintenance agreement with Over-All Electric. He does not pay us nor has ever paid us to maintain his equipment, much less repair a problem caused by a third party.
7. [redacted] has a monitoring agreement with us which we have provided.
8. We are not under any legal obligation to repair his equipment that was disabled by a third party.
9. We explained to [redacted] that our schedule did not enable us to respond to his needs within an acceptable time frame.
10. We attempted to assist him by contacting another alarm company.
11. The Alarm Permit through the city of Denver that [redacted] refers to is a permit required by the city of Denver in order to monitor a property. This is a revenue permit only for the City and does not provide for any kind of maintenance of alarm equipment. Over-All Electric is listed on the permit because we originally installed the equipment and because we have a monitoring agreement with the homeowner.
12. We stopped all contact with[redacted] when his behavior became threatening.
I trust that you will review this case and call if any further clarification is needed
Sincerely,
[redacted]
Owner, Over-All Electric, LLC.

Case # [redacted]
Although some statements are correct in Over-All Electric's response to my complaint, others are not correct. What the response to refers to as facts are not factually correct and/or phrased in his favor by his family member [redacted]. I will not address individual items listed in their response as it is not needed or helpful. Unfortunately much of what [redacted] tells his customers does not reflect any respect for his customers or their assets.
The main purpose of this communication is to raise awareness for the type of customer support that Over-All Electric provides to their customers. Anyone doing due diligence on this company can decide for themselves if they want to put their trust in this company.
The issue that caused the filing of this complaint has been fixed by another service provider and I do not intend to follow up on this any further.
Respectfully,
[redacted]
