This shop may be a good fleet shop, but when is comes to customer care and customer relations, they are far beyond horrible My boyfriend and I were referred to this company by my boss - the company I work for currently use this shop to do our fleet vehicles My boyfriend has been rebuilding his Thunderbird for the passed yearWe finally just needed someone to finish the odds and ends, putting the gas tank on, connecting the gas line, putting in the fuel filters, re connecting all of the A/C tubes that had to be unplugged to get the new engine in and putting on the air filter This company has had the car for weeks, we requested to get a call when they figured out some kind of bidWe never received a callMy boyfriend then went to the shop almost daily to check the progress of the carafter and a half weeks, the fuel tank was on and the fuel filters were onAbout, an hour, maybe an hour and a half worth of work - and all of the parts were provided by us Monday, we both stopped by the shop because we had then requested to be called so we could be there when the car was started for the first timeWe were told, "it is ready to be started, the mechanic will give you a call in the morning, and have you come and bring the gas"Tuesday came and passedSo this brings us to today, weeks laterThey said it was ready to start Monday, so my boyfriend went in this morning, Wednesday, and was told the mechanic that worked on our car wouldn't be in till amSo he left, and went back at 915ish, and the mechanic was thereHe talked to the mechanic that worked on the car and the car was not ready to startSo we have decided to take the car, we asked about the pricing and they didn't have any kind of bid, or any pricing informationthey just thru it togetherFor attaching the brand new empty gas tank, plugging the A/C compressor back in and putting the fuel filters on, they charged us 400$ 400$ to be in the same position we were in beforeNow, we are moving the car to another mechanic, hopefully one that can be upfront about how long it will take and how much it will cost American Fleet Service has been by far, the worst mechanic experience I have ever hadThey took a fun project we were doing and turned it into a giant hassle Before this we had it with another fleet mechanicHe also took a while to do things, but, he told us when he was going to do things and if he wouldn't be ready, he would let us knowHe also gave us pricing and respectAll things we have not gotten from American Fleet It is a real shame, My company HIGHLY recommended them But, I guess if you are not a fleet, your not important to these guysWe definitely weren't treated the way they treat my companies fleet After weeks of having to show up ourselves and see the car in the same position, with the keys sitting right on top of it, I am just happy to get our car out of thereI have never felt so disrespected and unimportant

*** and crew at American Fleet go out of their way to help me This is a honest shop I apprecite talking dirctly to the mechanic

I took my toyota truck in because it wasnt running right and there was an oil leak under the frontOther than oil changes, I have not done anything mechanical to it in about yearsafter examination, my clutch was paper thin, there was oil pan leak and rear main seal leak, they replaced the timing belt tested the transmission, did a tune up, and lots of other items that really needed to be attended toI drove back to my office and that little truck never ever ran so goodit wasnt missing anymore, and I had power I never had beforeI feel like I can drive this truck another 100,milesI felt like they were honest and called to talk to me before work was doneI support family owned businesses, and this one is most excellent
