Review: Several years ago I had Overhead Storage Solutions install shelving in my garage. Shortly after that I started to have plumbing problems which kept happening over the past 7 years. I finally found a contractor that decided to investigate thoroughly and tear out a wall in my garage where he felt the leaks were originating and all of our mouths fell open when we saw what the problem was. Overhead Storage Solutions had drilled large holes right into my water drain pipes and they have been slowly leaking over the years. This latest repair bill cost me $4,925 to fix and I'm not even going to worry about the plumbing bills over the past years since that's water under the bridge so to speak. My contractor took a lot of photos proving what happened and he included it in his report and my invoices. My total expenses over the years have been in excess of $15,000. I turned the receipts over to my insurance company with the explanation of what happened and they say that E[redacted] is responsible for all of my plumbing problems and he needs to turn it over to his insurance company. My insurance agent doesn't even think my insurance will cover this because I've had so many plumbing claims and if they do, the company will double my premium. Also, I have $1,000 deductible. E[redacted] has cost me thousands of dollars because of his negligence and I've been the victim of his mistakes. I tried to find him on the Ca. Insurance Commissioner's office and there is no information on him there either. Could he possibly be doing business without a license or insurance? Overhead Storage Solutions has caused me unbelievable stress and expense over the past years and I'm only asking that he be responsible for this last bill. I hope you can help me since I sure can't afford to get an attorney involved. Thank you for any help you can give me.Desired Settlement: I have called and left a message on his website but, of course, he's hiding from me. He doesn't even give his right name when you call the company. He just calls himself Rick with no last name indicated. His website says that he's licensed and bonded but when I attempted to find him at the CSLB he is not there and is not licensed. Eric Steinberg needs to turn this last invoice I paid for $4,925 over to his insurance company and have them pay me back.
