per the customer service rep she told the patient that we were unable to stop payment since it would be deposited and posted...

electronically and is sent to a lock box. patient states she was not told this. Call was not recorded. The non sufficient fund charge has been voided and the patient is not responsible for the $30.00 NSF charge. Let me know if you need additional information

I called prior to stopping payment and was told there would be no problem. It wasn't until after the fact they decided to charge me. They should have told me this prior to my stop payment that there was a problem and they would charge me for it. They didnt. I could have let the payment go through and have them send it back had they informed me there was a priblem They didn't offer that option when I phoned. They said "no problem". Then turned around and sent me a bill. When I called after they bilked me that was the excuse I was given. Then you should gave told me that up front. This just wrong.
