OSG is the stock ticker symbol for this unscrupulous company. In March of 2017 they mislead investors on Yahoo Finance by advertising that they paid a dividend of 42.29%. I called the company to verify this and was told that they are aware of this and could not say more! I was duped into buying this stock which has since declined in value and NEVER paid ANY Dividends. As a result I lost tens of thousands of dollars and was forced to sell my shares at a considerable loss.

Refund I would like to get the money back from OSG that I lost!
This answer is in response to the complaint dated February 26, 2020, though not received in our office until March 13, 2020, followed by email on the 16th of March. Given the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, OSG is responding to this complaint in as timely a matter as possible.
OSG responds as follows: (1) OSG does not advertise on Yahoo Finance; (2) OSG has no control over what Yahoo Finance posts on its page and is not obligated to monitor or correct what is posted; and (3) In 2016 in connection with the spin-off of the Company's international business, OSG did pay out a dividend to shareholders in the amount of $0.08/per share.
Mr. claims that he called OSG and was told that OSG was "aware" of the statement on Yahoo Finance and "could not say more". We have no record of such call and Mr. has not provided any details about the call, or to whom he spoke with, so we are not able to further investigate. Mr. also has not provided information as to when he acquired his shares in OSG.
OSG is a publicly traded company, listed on the NYSE, and files reports with the SEC. Mr. does not indicate that he ever looked at, much less read, any of OSG's filings. Had he done so, he would have seen that OSG has never paid a dividend of the magnitude he claims. Moreover, in every filing that the Company makes, OSG puts investors on notice that there is no certainty that OSG's stock price will increase or decrease. This is an inherent risk in all stock market investments.
OSG is not responsible for the loss that Mr. has realized.

I understand you don't have control over what Yahoo Finace posts, so I guess I don't have a leg to stand on!
