August 31, [redacted] Revdex.com East 4"St., Suite Cincinnati, Ohio 45202Re: [redacted] Account Number [redacted] Dear MS [redacted] :In response to your case ID # [redacted] regarding a billing adjustment to refund charges incurred for disconnect and reconnect fees on August 26, 2015, I have attached a copy of the bill statement, delinquent notice, account notes and a copy of the work order to disconnect/reconnect service surrounding this instanceI have detailed a time line below:• 7/17/Account billed for service from 6/thru 7/15/for $due on 8/6/15• 8/11/Delinquent notice mailed/forfeited prompt pay discount of $added to balance• 8/11/A courtesy call made to phone number on record asking member to contact office• 8/26/Service disconnected for non-payment at approximately 1:22pm• 8/26/Service reconnected at approximately 4:51pm with over time charges in placeAs you will notice we confirmed the mailing address during our conversation with Mr [redacted] to ensure that both the bill statement and delinquent notice were mailed to the correct addressAdditionally, delinquent notices were mailed for the bills due 7/2/15, 4/5/15, 2/5/15, 12/6/14, and 10/5/Both the 12/6/and 10/15/periods also included tickets to disconnect for non-pay similar to the recent instance; however, Mr [redacted] paid the amounts due before the service was physically interruptedIn each case, the delinquent notices carefully detailed the charges involved should a member's service be disconnected and reconnected.At this time, I do not feel a refund is appropriateAs a public utility, Owen Electric Cooperative is governed by the Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC)Mr [redacted] can talk with the PSC at [redacted] to request an investigation.Sincerely, [redacted] Manager, Member Service/Billing [redacted] • [redacted] - [redacted]
