Specialized Saw & Mower Response:
The vendor unit was a [redacted] UTV.  [redacted] dropped this unit off for
repair on July 13th, 2015.
This unit had extensive engine problems and many hours of
labor were spent trying to resolve this problem.  We contacted [redacted] at...

[redacted] and they
decided that we should pull the engine out of the unit and send it to [redacted]
and then [redacted] would repair and return the engine to us for reinstallation.
The engine was pulled out and sent to [redacted] for
repair.  [redacted] returned the engine to
us that they stated they had repaired and we subsequently reinstalled the
engine.  This
did not resolve the issue and the engine still ran
poorly.  We incurred 14 hours of labor
during the removal and reinstallation process, which included 10.5 hours for
one technician and 3.5 hours labor for a second technician.  Our hourly rate at that time was $72.00 per
hour.  14 hours labor @ 72.00 per hour
brings us to the $1008.00 that was billed to [redacted].  The disputed amount in question is for
$1008.00, which was labor that we “did” perform as evidenced by the attached
bill.
We elected to no longer be a warranty repair facility for
[redacted] Motors due to their non response for parts and payment during the
period of July 2015 to a few months back.
[redacted] was informed of this and notified that we no longer
repair any items under warranty for [redacted], or any extended warranties that
their company, or other companies have sold to their customers.  [redacted] has continued to bring units
in for repair and understands this policy.
[redacted] ignored many telephone calls from our Service Manager
during the 15 months the unit had been here and seemed to not care that the
unit had been here for over a year.  They
never once called to inquire about picking the unit up during this period.  They only responded about picking the unit up
once they received a letter of abandonment.
We submitted the labor bill on 8/30/2016 to [redacted] after the unit had been
sitting here for 13 months with no resolution from [redacted], or [redacted].
On October 3rd,
2016 we sent a letter of abandonment to [redacted] because the
unit had been sitting at our location for 15 months without payment for the
labor performed.  This unit was dropped
off by [redacted].  The letter of
abandonment is attached and states that after communication with both [redacted] and [redacted] that the labor had not been paid and that the unit would be
sold to cover the cost of unpaid labor and storage if not paid by October 12th, 2016.
I spoke with [redacted] from [redacted] after she received the
letter.  She said she was working with
[redacted] to get us paid and asked that we please not sell the unit.  I advised [redacted] that we would not sell the unit
and awaited payment from [redacted].
We did receive payment from [redacted] Motors for the $1008.00
on October 11th, 2016.  We promptly called [redacted] at [redacted] and
notified her that [redacted] had paid the labor and that they could pick the unit
up.
We did not use an unfair business practice as stated in the
complaint for services not rendered.  We
rendered labor in the amount of $1008.00 for a unit that the factory ([redacted])
could not repair and engine on.  If I may
be of any further assistance to you in this matter, please do not hesitate to
write or call me at ###-###-####

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and wish to close my complaint. I was pretty angry at the time the complaint was submitted. I do not require any refund from this business. I am satisfied by simply taking my business elsewhere.

So sorry to have involved the Revdex.com in this matter.  However, I as the owner quickly resolved the situation.  The original bagger after researching records was purchased back in November 12, 2011 at a discounted price for a first time customer.   Mr. [redacted] came in and complained of...

the bagger not fitting his mower 3 years and 6 months later.  Not knowing the exact model and serial number my employee gave him what he thought was right.  Although, it was wrong and after getting the exact model and serial number I got involved and ordered the correct bagger.  We agreed to take care of him with no problem, however, the bagger he needed was a higher priced bagger which he said he did not want to pay the difference.  Furthermore, we excepted that also and absorbed the difference.  Mr. [redacted] was ask if he would be willing to pay the shipping as it was a special order.  He didn't want to do that but reluctantly did, I also told him we would put it on for free if he wanted us too. So, unknowingly to me he rights a letter to the Revdex.com stating he wants all the shipping back plus gas money.  I called Mr. [redacted] this evening about this situation and he reluctantly said yes that's what he requested and the bagger was fine.  I politely told him this was really going to put us in the red on the bagger but would be willing to do this.  I ask him to right a letter back to the Revdex.com letting them know this was responded to immediately and resolved 100%.  Mr. [redacted] said he would be glad too and all matters would be resolved. I have been in business for 25 years and take customer service very serious.  I wish Mr. [redacted] had contacted me instead of the Revdex.com, however, it is resolved and taken care of. Any questions please contact me direct [redacted] cell or [redacted] office. Thank you,[redacted]Owner
