Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I do not accept his response simply because most of what is said is not true and I want to clarify.  I originally called Joe Wilde who said to call Owens because I didn't realize they were the original installers.  That's what I did.  Yes I wanted them to come out and verify so I could order the panel from them.  After weeks of waiting on them and calling several times I began to get very frustrated. Their record keeping is less than imperfect and had no idea what kind of door I had after providing all the information they asked for that came from their sticker on the door plus a picture as requested and dimensions.  Mind you I had to print the picture and mail it because they apparently don't have any technology in place to take an e-mail or a text.  My last conversation was with [redacted] who began asking me for the same information I had provided to [redacted] over the last several phone calls.   I did call Wilde again after Owens hung up on me and explained to them the problem.  They did provide a quote but unfortunately I have to buy an entire door because nobody seems to have a matching panel that is only 10 years old.  Wilde was surprised at my experience as I was but was happy to help me.   I am not trying to start an incident as he eludes too but he gave me no other option but to file a formal complaint.  They apparently don't understand what customer service is when there is an issue down the road.  I don't need to speak to them any further about this issue and you can close out this complaint.
Regards,
[redacted]

Review: I need a replacement panel for my overhead door this company installed back in 2005. I started calling in November I believe and spoke to [redacted] several times, asking to get a price on a panal to replace one I damaged myself. I gave them every number on the door they asked for but they couldn't find record of this purchase. After several different phone calls getting various information she had asked for to verify the door, without ever a call back from her. The last call I had to her was she wanted a picture of the door. Since they don't have any e-mail or form of modern day technology I had to print the picture and mail it. I called again two weeks later because I didn't hear back from [redacted] after I mailed the picture. I spoke to the husband who was trying to help me. Unfortunately I was extremely frustrated by this point because he began to ask the same questions that [redacted] had asked for over the past few months. I told him I mailed a picture and he began to tell me he's been taking pictures for 50 years and never saw such a terrible picture. I said it's a picture of a garage door what was he expecting? I took it on my iPhone printed it on a piece of regular paper and dropped it in the mail. He was getting frustrated with me as I was with him. The simple thing would have been just to come to my house, I'm in Muskego as they are, see what I had. In the end he hung up on me and to date I still have no response from them to help me replace the door panel. The are obviously a very small company that are not keeping up with the times, have poor record management, and poor customer service.Desired Settlement: I'd still like to purchase and replace the damaged panal since it sounded like they may have had a panel in stock but again I never really got any clear answers. I never got a price or any other info to determine what to do next.
