Oxendale Hyundai Reviews (18)

I do not accept Oxendale Hyundai's response to hold my vehicle paperwork "hostage" until I sign a legal document that they refuse to allow me to preview prior to signing I have repeatedly asked for a copy of this document so that I and/or an advisor can review itThe work on my vehicle was authorized by the general manager as part of an agreement to fix the original shoddy and unauthorized repair as the work done previously was guaranteed and was not initially evaluated/diagnosed correctlyI want a copy of the legal document they want me to sign so I can preview it BEFORE signing and I also want the itemized list of repairs

To whom it May Concern,I apologize for Ms [redacted] 's negative car buying experience at Oxendale Hyundai and the subsequent situations thereafter Sounds to me like unprofessional behavior was exhibited by both parties during disagreements pertaining to repairs on the vehicleIn an effort to cut through the "he said, she said" I would like to address the facts.First and foremost the vehicle was sold and delivered in good working condition and appears to be driven over a 1,miles before it had any problemsI think Ms [redacted] will find that in fact the vehicle is not a "lemon" All maintenance and repairs are the sole responsibility of the owner of the vehicle If the dealership had agreed to repair anything after the sale we would have put it in writing on the After Sale Work Order that was included in our first response showing, Nothing was Owed If an owner of a vehicle does not want to have the responsibility of maintenance and repairs on their vehicle, they typically purchase a vehicle under factory warranty or purchase a service contract, which Ms [redacted] declined at the time of purchase In this particular situation the Patriot is roughly years old with over 100,miles and will absolutely require future maintenance and repairs as all vehicles at this age and mileage would, that should be expected The dealership has no responsibility to cover future repairs, yet due to the short time after purchase that a repair was needed we are trying to help even though we have no obligation to do so.The total amount of expenditures associated with the repair are as follows: [redacted] Repair Order # = $ [redacted] Motors diagnosis = $200+Tow Bill = $110Oxendale driver fees = $Total Cost: $1,360.92In addition Ms [redacted] received a free loaner car from Oxendale Hyundai on two different occasions for a total of daysOxendale Hyundai is trying to help Ms [redacted] by only charging her $instead of the entire $1,and by providing her free loaner cars to use while the repair was being completed. If I were to honor Ms [redacted] 's request to take the repairs out of the commission of the sales person her new total to pay would be: $ I am obviously willing to execute her request, however the offer that has already been extended to her is more beneficial Maybe an agreement for the repairs can be reached at a lower amount of $750, but as of now I understand that Ms [redacted] is not willing to pay anythingOxendale Hyundai would like nothing more than to reach an agreement for payment of the repairs and return the vehicle to Ms [redacted] .Sincerely,Michael Oxendale

To whom it may concern:I was present when the Customer came storming into the showroom and unannounced, entered and starting verbally attacking the Manager on duty. We had customer's in the showroom and people waiting to speak with the Manager on duty as he stormed by them then sat in front of him...

at his desk as he was politely asked how he could be helped.  The complainant then proceeded to swear at and demand that his wipers be fixed, our Sales Manager simply and calmly said that the service department was closed and as he tried to find a resolution he was not being heard from the complainant, as the complainant continued to over talk him and said that this was your fault and I don't care if your service department is opened or not, your going to fix this [redacted] now! That is when he was asked to leave the premises. What the complainant is unaware of because of his angry temperament, is that the manager was trying to offer a solution but never had the chance. We have no problem at all fixing the problem of a wiper blade if it is at our fault. Most definitely we have every intention of correcting that, if is at our fault. But the Complainant never even gave our manager a chance to assist with his issue as the gentleman was completely irrational.   Thank you,Rich B[redacted] General Manager

The jeep I purchased broke down within 15 days of me having it. I was told all repairs and costs would be covered by Oxendale. Rich asked me to split the bill, resulting me in paying $500. Being I was told there would be no expense out of pocket, I refused. The jeep infact was towed to [redacted] Motors not driven, and I do not have any family there nor does my fiancé. I contacted [redacted] where Rich had it towed too and they informed me there was more than just the filter and battery that was wrong with the jeep, the differencial and wheel barrings are bad as well. I asked if the damage was caused by the vehicle being driven (which it wasn't) and I was informed that the damage was done when I bought the vehicle. I was told by Rich he would not have the jeep picked up or paid for until we signed an agreement I would help split the costs, which was never done. I am concerned as to why Rich picked up the vehicle without me knowing and is now keeping it in his lot until I pay them back the $850. I wasn't even informed by him that he had the jeep I was told by [redacted] that the jeep had been picked up and paid for. As far as I am concerned the costs for the repairs on the jeep should be taken out of the commission made by the man who had sold us the vehicle which has turned out to be a lemon. As of today Rich has left me with no way of transportation and something needs to be resolved.

Not only are customers treated extremely poorly, employees are as well. Management is unprofessional, rude and unaccountable. The owners do not follow appropriate prodocall for funding deals or signing and issuing checks on time. The new GM Ali Hussein is sexist, racist and RUDE.
