I reject this response, this response from Oxford towing is a complete fabrication of the facts My son, [redacted] , had at no time driven over a pothole Furthermore, there is not even a pothole anywhere in its proximity to create said damage My son did not call for roadside assistance either and had not spoken to the driver of the "wrong" tow truck I reiterate he did not speak to the driver He did not tell him he drove over a pothole At this point in time, I am so thoroughly disgusted with this irresponsible act and company Clearly I am left to question who [redacted] subscribes to perform their contractual roadside assistance I am placing [redacted] on notice that they share in this responsibility of liability given it is to you I pay for this service monthly, in the this case negligence, if/when this is presented to small claims court [redacted]

Review: I am a customer of [redacted] ...I have their roadside assistance. Oxford Towing was the vendor who was issued to come tow my car due to a flat tire. When the tow driver arrived he had a lot of issues with towing lift, lifting my 2005 [redacted] up and down about 10 times. He followed me to [redacted] at [redacted] and [redacted] avenues where he was quick to leave asking me to get my registration so he could take a picture on his phone to get vin#. My tire just had lost air, but after putting on lift my radiator was pushed back and forth into a v shape. I called owner of Oxford towing left message of location of [redacted] for the owner to come out to inspect. He called, went out to location spoke to manager and said he would have them do the work. Advised ([redacted]) manager that he was going to call me to let me know of his decision. Well, he called and said my driver wouldn't have done that, advised I would see him in small claims court. 669.00 dollars after a tow....I am beyond frustrated...At this time I have been in touch with [redacted] rep. who is trying to assist me in getting them removed as a vendor for roadside. I want justice ....he is nothing but a liar....Desired Settlement: I wouldn't trust a check from this person.

Response:

Our company manager promptly responded to the complainant’s claim and visited the [redacted] location within hours of her initial phone call. Upon inspection of the vehicle, the radiator damages were caused by a pothole. Apparently the son of the complainant was driving the vehicle that day and hit a huge pothole which intern deflated the tire. The son was the actual caller that placed the call to roadside assistance and informed the tow truck driver, onsite, that he had hit a pothole which caused the flat tire. The complainant later arrived at the disablement location only to give the son a ride home. She was not the driver of the subject vehicle and possibly had no real knowledge of how the damage actually occured. The [redacted] employees were able to reinflate the tire and there were no air leaks or punctures in the tire. This proves that a pothole knocked the air out of the tire and the pothole impact also damaged the radiator. Our company is not responsible or liable for any damages to this vehicle.
