Oxford Downtown Mall & Indoor Flea Market

I purchased a dresser from vendor ** and advised I would be back to pick it up when I had my husband and truck. The vendor called after a few wks and I advised him the truck ([redacted]) was down and we were trying to repair it and since I paid for the dresser already, would it be okay until the truck was on the road. The vendor had no problem w/that and had my phone #. PArts took a lot longer than expected, but when it was ready, I went in to p/u the dresser I paid 160.93 for including tax. The owner, [redacted], advised me she had moved it to her private storage and it was inconvenient for her to give it to me at that time - I needed to call and schedule. I called back and she told me the dresser was sold! I asked her about my refund and she said they charge for storage and she would only give me back 75.00 I was upset bec. the receipt had no such warning - there are also no signs advising the customer of these practices - plus - the vendor never told me it was not a problem - I could have rented a truck earlier. Also - they never called me (I have an answering service and am a disabled senior citizen. She then told me I had to produce the receipt to even get the 75.00. I tore my house apart looking for a receipt that she knew I had had and finally found it and my husband took me there today to get my refund. She was out and her husband told me she'd be back in 90 minutes. We waited - she showed and refused to give me a dime! Why did she lie countless times and put me through all of that for nothing? NOw they have double dipped - resold my dresser and kept the money.Product_Or_Service:[redacted] dresserDesired SettlementBecause of the lies and shady business practices - I want my money back. I have spent OVER 1500.00 in that mall the first year I retired and moved here from Florida. I have purchased 4 other pieces of furniture, left the pieces or taken them the same day - that's why I was led to believe this was not going to be a problem when the truck broke down. Then she was deceitful about the date I purchased the item and the refund she promised. They are deceitful.
