It is with dismay and bewilderment that I receive my first complaint from an unhappy patient the Revdex.com since my practice began in We pride ourselves at Oxford Eye Clinic in providing the very best in patient care and satisfaction I did see Ms [redacted] approximately a week ago for a spectacle check and again yesterday in regards to blurred distance vision in her new glasses At both visits after adjusting the way the glasses were sitting on Ms[redacted] 's face she was able to comfortably read 20/both at distance and near She was told that if she continued to have problems over the course of another week or two (progressive addition lenses often take some time to adapt, even when patients have previously worn them) I would resolve her problem to her satisfaction Evidently Ms [redacted] does not want to try to adapt further and would prefer a refund for her glasses which is totally acceptable to me All she needed to do was to call our clinic and ask.The cost of Ms [redacted] 's glasses is $and the cost of her eye exam is $ Ms [redacted] can either return her new glasses within days for a full refund of $or she is welcome to choose another pair of glasses and the costs will be adjusted depending on the value of the new frame We will also gladly give to Ms [redacted] her spectacle prescription to use at another optical if she prefers to go elsewherePatient satisfaction and service is always our utmost goal I regret that Ms [redacted] felt we could not meet her needs My hope is she will continue to be a patient of ours in the future and we will strive to help her see her very best and provide good eye care Please let Ms [redacted] know we are sorry for any misunderstandings or misgivings Sincerely yours, Dr [redacted]
