The customer contacted Oxford Floral and stated that she ordered a Bridal Gift over the phone and had not received a thank you note from the BrideOur Bridal Consultant checked all Phone Order tickets and was unable to find a record of the purchaseShe contacted the customer to let her know that
there was no record of the purchase from her or for the item she stated for the BrideThe customer stated that she had a charge on her Credit Card for the purchaseWhen she was unable to locate a ticket of the purchase, the Manager of Oxford Floral contacted the Company’s Credit Card Processing CompanyThe Credit Card Processer ran a report for December and the report was meticulously reviewed by the Processor and the Manager of the storeAfter reviewing the report, there was not a charge to the customer listed on the report in that amount or in the card number she stated that she used. This was communicated to the customer that there was no record of the purchaseThe Bridal Consultant contacted the Mother of the Bride to inquire if she received the giftThe Mother of the Bride stated that her daughter was out of town and was not at the location of where the Bridal Gifts wereShe stated that she would be back in touch with the Bridal ConsultantAfter approximately a week the Bridal Consultant followed up with Mother of the Bride and she stated that she was still unable to check on the gift at that timeShe stated that she would call when she had an opportunityIt was clearly communicated to the customer that the Mother of the Bride was unable check on the gift at the current time and the Bridal Consultant was not comfortable in continuing to call the Mother of the Bride, when she clearly stated that she would get back with the Bridal Consultant when she had the opportunityOur Company respects the requests of our customers, although one customer was very anxious on a status, we could not continuously harass anotherAfter a couple of weeks, the Mother of the Bride stated that her daughter did not receive the giftAt that time, she stated that she did not purchase the item over the phone, she purchased the gift onlineAt that time, the Bridal Consultant was very quickly able to locate the purchaseOxford Floral began a new online ordering system in the last year and unfortunately, this gift was accidently overseenHad the customer stated that the purchase was online; weeks would have not gone by before locating the purchase orderAll online and phone orders for Bridal and Non-Bridal Gifts are well documented and filed adequately to be able to cross reference at any time and ensure accuracy and clear records of purchasesOxford Floral in no way believes that the customer is at fault, however, the time that elapsed that the customer is complaining about would have been addressed that day had the correct purchase order been stated from the beginningOxford Floral offered to fulfill the gift to the bride at no charge and the customer refusedThe Bridal Consultant, Manager and Owner apologized to the customerThe Bridal Consultant apologized to the Mother of the Bride and Bride and both were extremely understanding and were not upset with the CompanyThey were appreciative of the effort of the Company and the EmployeesWhen the Customer addresses Oxford Floral not providing gifts and flowers, she is referring to a complaint from the Bridal Department in 2012, a Funeral Arrangement from 2009, and a and unsatisfied customer for floral arrangementsWhen an average of flower arrangements go out per day, three negative complaints out of years, we consider is going to unfortunately happen when there is nearly 7,that go out to customers yearlyWith an average of Brides registered per year, unfortunately someone at some time is going to complainWe accept these complaints, do our best to make it right, and learn from our mistakes
