Oxi Fresh sent a young man to do my carpets in our cottage in Egg Harbor WI on September 26th. The young gentleman that did the carpets was very polite. He cleaned the carpets in under and hour which I thought was fairly quick. He asked me to look at the carpets when he was done. I commented that the hallway was still dirty and was told the carpet was wet and when it dried it would be clean. It was not. In addition the carpet was covered in what felt like chalk. On the 27th I rec'd a survey in which I explained the problem. I have not heard from the company even thought their survey asked what they could do to make things right. Of course it is too late for their 7 day warranty which I did not want them to come out again anyway, but instead asked for my money back. I happen to have my shampooer with me at the cottage. I shampooed a section 1' x 4' and the water was filthy! I had asked the company for a full refund. As of today, October 6th, I have not heard a word from the company.
My name is *** I am the owner of that franchise regarding complaint #***. We offer free redos when someone isnt happy not refunds. We offered this customer a re-do and she declined. The chalky feeling of the carpet can easily be fixed with a redo and the dirty water from her shampooer is coming from the baseboards of her floor not her carpet that we cleaned that water would look dirty no matter how many times she goes over it or if another company did it. We are the highest rated company in the area and work hard on our customer service. We will waive our no refund policy and send her a check in the mail but stand by our system and my technicians.
