OxiFresh Carpet Cleaning

I made an appointment for carpet cleaning service to be done Monday, August 5th, 2013 @ 10 AM. I booked this appointment on July 12th, 2013. The reason I booked so far ahead was that I absolutely needed the service to be done on this exact day due to an upcoming event at the house. I called to verify that they would be coming on Friday August 2nd, 2013 just to be sure, and the appointment was confirmed. I got a call at around 9 AM today (August 5th, 2013) 1 hour before the appointment to cancel because the technician was supposed to be "out of town". This is unprofessional, ridiculous service, and they should not be able to do this to the customer. The technician made it clear on the phone that this was NOT a last minute need or emergency that required him to cancel.Desired SettlementI do not want any form of compensation. I only ask that you publish this complaint in hopes to warn other possible consumers of this unreliable company.
