Mr*** purchased a Mini Cooper S Countryman from Oxmoor Chrysler Dodge Jeep RamAs part of the transaction, he was offered the option to purchase an Extended Service contract which he declined.Shortly after the purchase, Oxmoor Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram replaced the battery in the vehicle at
no charge to Mr***, A few days later, Mr, *** called again stating that there was a light lit on his dash, which turned out to be a light bulb that had burned out, Oxmoor Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram took care of that as wellAlthough both of the items were wearable items and given the short armount of time from his purchase we decided to handle out of goodwill to the customer.Mr*** has called again because an engine light had come on, We requested that Mr*** take the vehicle to the local Mini Cooper dealer for diagnostics which Oxmoor Chrysler paid forThe diagnostics indicated that a fuel valve had failed and this time Mr*** was required to pay for the repair of the vehicle.As a final act of good will Oxmoor Chrysler will reimburse Mr*** for the $he has paid for the fuel valve replacementHowever, Mr*** purchased a pre-owned vehicle, The items that failed were wearable items and there was no way to anticipate when they would require replacement,Should you have any questions please contact me.Sincerely,*** ***
