Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below We asked the salesman at the time of purchase about the "Special Benefits Package." We were told this was "required," but the salesman would not tell us what was included When I went back to the dealership to pay them the additional money that was owed due to their poor accounting and lack of attention to detail during the initial paperwork process, I again asked about the "Special Benefits Package" and was given no information When I had to return to the dealership again, this time to pick up my license plate that I was told would be left at the front desk, but that had actually been mailed out, I again asked the manager for information about the "Special Benefits Package" and I was told I would receive the information in the mail It has now been almost months since I purchased the car and I have still yet to receive any information regarding the "Special benefits Package" and what it includes My experience with Oxmoor Toyota was so awful that I will not be returning to the dealership for my "first free oil change" or for any other services that their "Special Benefits Package" may provide (not that I know what those benefits are since I can't seem to get any information) This issue will not be resolved until I have received reimbursement from the dealership for the "Special Benefits Package." Additionally, as female customers, my mother and I were continuously talked down to and felt as though they were trying to take advantage of us My customer experience would likely have been different if I had brought a man with me I have already told everyone I know, especially other women, not to shop at Oxmoor Toyota due to the miserable experience I had there Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I have finally received my "special benefits package." However, all the so-called "benefits" involve working with the dealership As previously stated, I wish to have no further dealings or interactions with Oxmoor Toyota, making their 'required' 'special benefits package' completely useless to me The only way I will consider this issue resolved is if I am reimbursed some or all of the $I paid for a "special benefits package" that is of absolutely no use to me

Dear Sir or Madam:
I am in receipt of Ms***’s recent correspondence to your office and I deeply regret that she has not received her copy of the Special Benefit Package bookletI have had the opportunity to discuss Ms***’s missing booklet with our third-party mail company that handles our books and have discovered that the failure to timely send out the booklet resulted from a combination of our making revisions to the books, approval of proofs, and low supplyI am glad that Ms*** communicated the fact that she had not received her booklet so that I could have one sent to her via FedEx (tracking number *** *** ***)Unfortunately, it will not be one of the revised versions as they have not been received from the printer as of today’s dateI will of course have a new booklet mailed to her as soon as they are available
With regards to her assertion that she felt “talked down to”, please relay my most sincere apology and assure her and her mother that no offense was intended and should she choose to return, I will make every effort to ensure a satisfactory customer experience
Sincerely,

We asked the salesman at the time of purchase about the "Special Benefits Package."  We were told this was "required," but the salesman would not tell us what was included.  When I went back to the dealership to pay them the additional money that was owed due to their poor accounting and lack of attention to detail during the initial paperwork process, I again asked about the "Special Benefits Package" and was given no information.  When I had to return to the dealership again, this time to pick up my license plate that I was told would be left at the front desk, but that had actually been mailed out, I again asked the manager for information about the "Special Benefits Package" and I was told I would receive the information in the mail.  It has now been almost 3 months since I purchased the car and I have still yet to receive any information regarding the "Special benefits Package" and what it includes.

My experience with Oxmoor Toyota was so awful that I will not be returning to the dealership for my "first free oil change" or for any other services that their "Special Benefits Package" may provide (not that I know what those benefits are since I can't seem to get any information).  This issue will not be resolved until I have received reimbursement from the dealership for the "Special Benefits Package."

This letter acknowledges the receipt of a consumer complaint dated September 5, 2014. As you know, Oxmoor Toyota appreciates the opportunity to respond whenever a customer complaint is brought to our...

attention.
Ms. [redacted] visited Oxmoor Toyota on July 7, 2014 to purchase a 2011 Toyota Corolla. During the purchase process, she left the dealership to go to her credit union; she returned a few hours later to complete the car deal.
Titling paperwork was completed on the vehicle, and the title clerk that completed Ms. [redacted]’s paperwork mailed out her registration and a sticker for Ms. [redacted] to put on the license plate on the Corolla. Until Ms. [redacted] contacted the dealership, we were unaware that the license plate belonging to the Corolla had been removed without Oxmoor Toyota’s knowledge. Upon learning that the vehicle did not have a license plate, the title clerk ordered a duplicate plate that was mailed out to Ms. [redacted] on September 5, 2014.
The special benefit package as well as its associated cost is clearly shown on the purchase documents signed by Ms. [redacted]. The package provides the customer with additional benefits totaling in value over $6,000.00 and does not require the customer to bring the vehicle back to  our dealership; however, we would like to have Ms. [redacted] return to receive her free first oil change. Ms. [redacted] will receive a booklet detailing all the benefits of the package 6-8 weeks following her purchase. I sincerely hope Ms. [redacted] is enjoying her vehicle and chooses to utilize the many benefits provided under the program.
If you should have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,
