I recommend this company I had a toilet that wouldn't flush So I called roto rooter They came out, removed the toilet and snaked the hole They charged me $and left The toilet still wouldn't flush So I called them to come back They came and told me, "You need to clean the main drain to the road and that'll cost another $ I didn't have that kind of money, so they left A month later, I called A to Z plumbing I told them I needed the main drain cleaned They said they could do it for $ So they came When they got here, they inspected They said, "Your main drain is fine If you had a problem, everything would be backing up - the sinks, washer, etc." So they looked at the toilet that wouldn't flush and said, "There's so much calcium build up in there it's blocking all the holes and the water can't flow They did acid treatments and fixed the problem! for $85!! roto rooter wanted me to pay them $+ $for a non-existent problem I will always call A to Z plumbing from now on

Synopsis:
Our sewer line at our residence became clogged and sewage backed up into our basement. I had four companies come to our home to give estimates for repairing/replacing the sewer line from our house to the road. (Two of those companies snaked the line.) Two companies use the procedure to dig a trench and replace all the sewer line. Two companies use the procedure to reline the section of the line that was in better shape, and dig a trench and replace the short section that was in the worst shape – where the belly is. Which method they used (reline versus dig a trench and replace) didn’t seem to affect the cost significantly, in this case. However, that will depend on what you dig the trench through that gets destroyed (landscaping, driveway, trees, etc.) The costs given ranged from just under $4,000 to just under $13,000. Technicians from all companies were polite and acted professionally. When you have sewage in your basement, it is understandable that you might spend a few extra dollars to get someone to come in quickly and unclog it. But please remember, if you think you need to replace your sewer line, there is generally no hurry in having it done since your line was just cleared. Take your time and get 3 or 4 (or more) estimates. Research the companies and the methods they use. I don’t know if I should call the repairmen technicians, or if they should be called salesmen.
This company:
The two most expensive companies recommended that we replace our sewer line. A To Z Plumbing & Drain Service, LLC told us our sewer line did not need repaired. It felt that other companies exaggerated the severity of the belly and the amount of roots. But if A To Z were asked to replace our sewer line, it had the lowest cost to repair/replace the sewer line.
A To Z was the most thorough in defining what kinds of pipes and connections were used in each section. It was more precise in pinpointing exactly where the snags in the line were and what were the causes. It didn’t want to sell services we didn’t need. It was the only company that recognized that our sewer line went under the road and connected to the municipal line many feet into our neighbor’s property.
A To Z was the only company that did a follow-up contact to verify that we were satisfied with their services and ask if we had any questions.
Would I recommend? Yes
