First and for most I disagree with your statement. It took 3 individuals to work on your car because of the snow storm. We were closing when you showed up but decided to help you anyway. When you asked for the manager you were speaking to the owner. Whom at the time explained to you that the parking brake was not something that they could handle at the shop at that time. However, there is no way changing your tires could damage your emergency break considering they are not near each other. Also how does your mechanic know for sure that it was our shop that damaged the breaks? As for customer service, there was a snow storm heading for us and everyone needed to get home safely. So yes the shop was closed and the employees along with the owner hurried home. So you asking for someone to remove the tires on your truck after completion of the job was not fair or anyone else’s best interest at that time.  We did not damage you emergency breaks. We’ve been changing tires for way too long to not know how to change tires on a truck.

Thank you for allowing me to explain the event that you contacted me about. The customer came into Oxygen Tires and bought tires from us. We also installed the tires as well size 2657017 for $127. The car was driven into the shop by one of the employees and jacked up for the tire replacement. When...

parking the vehicle it is routine to apply the emergency break to avoid the car rolling while changing the front tires. The employees then proceeded to change the customer’s two front tires.  Because of the approaching snow storm there were 3 employees working on her car to speed up the process. The customer kept interrupting and asking why there were so many techs working on her car. She was advised that they were trying to finish her car before the storm hit. Once the tires where changed the customer was then notified of her vehicle being ready. She got into the vehicle and then right back out and asked if when the vehicle was parked was the emergency break working. The employee that drove the vehicle told her yes. She then stated that her emergency break was not working and the shop needed to fix it. The customer was advised that was a mechanical issue and she needed to see a mechanic. She then refused to leave until her vehicle was fixed. It was explained to the customer that having her tire changed did not damage her break line. She was also told it would be in her best interest to take her vehicle to a mechanic to have the break looked at. The fact that her vehicle is a truck her emergency break line is located in a position where it can’t be reached just by changing the front tires.  I have attached a diagram for your review. It will clearly demonstrate that we did not even have to touch or go near her emergency break.Thank YouOwner

Review: On Mon May 20, 2013 I entered the business"Oxygen Tires & Auto" as a referral recommendation from my niece to obtain a price quote for installation of an transmission for my 2003 Honda Odyssey V6-3.5L. Mechanic ([redacted]) quoted us a labor cost of $500.00 . He also stated that he could have the vehicle ready within two days upon receiving the transmissions delivery. On Thursday, May 23 ,2013 I received a call from the the owner [redacted] advised us that the shop where we purchased the used transmission " [redacted]'s " delivered the wrong transmission . However he also stated that the shop was going to be closed for the Memorial Day holiday and as a result we would have the work suspended until Monday May 27, 2013 further inconvenience to us as we rented a vehicle at a rate of $42.00 a day on May 20, 2013 solely based upon our quote of three days. On May 30, 2013 we again received a call from [redacted] to advise us that our van was repaired and ready for pick up. I arrived with my niece met with [redacted] in the lobby to discuss repairs and to have [redacted] go along for the test drive, he did and as he agreed that there was indeed a problem still in existence with regard to the installed transmission and that he would put it on a lift to fix it while we waited.Desired Settlement: I asked for a refund upon the owners refusal to satisfy 100% service. He refused our request to again test drive the vehicle for final payment of 265.00My van is in worse condition than it was at time of drop off. For reasons pertaining to poor service , dishonesty and inconvenience of time and moneyI am seeking a refund of my labor fees based solely upon the business botched the job.
