Oyo hotel

I stayed in OYO Townhouse Suites in Jackson, Mississippi on Friday March 6th, 2020 to March 8th, 2020 during my stay here the key pad defaulted on Saturday March 7th,2020 rendering it impossible to get into the room with all of my belongings such as clothing, hygiene products, and other essentials. When I told guest services they stated that no one could come out at the time to open the door with my belongings until the next day which would be Sunday March 7th,2020. The next day I expected the door to be open;however, they told me that the door could not be opened until the next day and my belongings would have to be left in the room until Monday, March 9th, 2020. The door was eventually opened on Monday March 9th, 2020; however, I made it clear to the staff that I did not live in Jackson, Ms and that I would have to come back. During this time no room compensation or price reduction was offered due to me having to take off of work as well as drive to Jackson, Ms which is two hours away from me to get my belongings on Thursday, March 12,2020. I spoke with the General manager, *** who stated there was nothing she could do about the situation because “I agreed with the process” I responded to her what process. She responded “to make you comfortable and put you in a new room”. That was not an agreement that was a part of me getting what I paid for, which is a room. This process was not handled correctly, and they do not want to take in consideration the time and effort and my essentials in this process. The exact address of the hotel is 5723 Interstate 55 North

When I asked could anything be compensated she stated no, and that she is the GM and she makes those decisions. She stated the only thing she could do is give me a lower room rate, which is unacceptable with all of the money I have already spent to obtain my coach bag.
