To Whom this may concern, International Fitness does have a day notice policy to cancel members accountIf this was not explained at the time of signing up, it is written on the agreement to reference back to Member Service did contact [redacted] as soon as her dues returned, no contact was returned until January so were not able to set up the last months dues in the appropriate time International Fitness would allow [redacted] her last months dues to use and also an additional month that she paid for that she feels she did not use She would need to contact Laura [redacted] to get that set up Yours in good health, Nikki P [redacted] Regional Director Member Service

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I was never contacted before the letter sent to me that I defaultedThey claim that they made several calls, but I did not receive any of themNor did they leave voice messages for me The fact I was never reminded that it needed to be in writing when I cancelled and gave them my bar code is appallingI was made aware that their employees, specifically the one who took my cancellation on June 6th had plenty of trainingUnfortunately, I feel was let down via the procedure of cancelingI had to pay $for a membership I did not have the opportunity to use because I had already cancelled and gave them my membership barcode

[redacted] has been refered to a local collection agency due to a past due balance on his accountOn 9/13/he called on this balanceMember Service explained that he had been contacted on 5/26/2017, 6/29/by phone and we never got a response backOn 8/21/a statement was sent out and 8/an email was sent, that returned [redacted] stated on 9/13/that he cancelled with a front desk employee, so we contacted this employee which has been an employee for several years, and knows that porcess to cancel accountsWe require a day notice and it to be put in writingWe submit them in our computer system and they go in the file folder in the persons account There was nothing in the system, so we looked for a paper hand done and again there was notingWe spoke with the employee and she remembers that situation and did not take a cancellation [redacted] stated that he would pay the balance owed to the collection agency as he was making a purchase and did not want this to be on his creditHe also stated that then he would want us to refund himMember Service told him that we would not give him a refund as the balacne was owed [redacted] did pay the collection agency right away and as he stated he would contact the Revdex.com International Fitness did try to resolve this when it defaulted in May but [redacted] did not respond, and account went into default

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response from the business The International Fitness Southern and Central Oregon Headquarters seemed to be in Eugene, Oregon When I called Member Services on 1/13/16, I spoke to a Member Services Representative named McKenzie in Eugene and she said would forward my comments and complaint to her manager The Member Services phone number is 541-746- See attachments of the only and first invoice I received, my notes, and Medford gym location/address/phone number Sincerely, [redacted]

I have sent a file that show that International Fitness did contact *** by phone to get this resolved when the fee's returned from her bank accountIf *** had returned those calls this would have been taken care of right a way and the day notice would have been followed and used in the proper time frame

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because when the representatives left voicemails, they said that "this is a courtesy call"(Nothing regarding payment or fees). I thought since I canceled my membership that was supposed to be month-to-month, these calls were regarding renewing my membership or marketing calls. If they left more detailed voicemails and did not call it a courtesy call, I would have called back and understood the situation better. The company could have just sent me the invoice a lot sooner and I would called as well

I am rejecting this response because:I was never contacted before the letter sent to me that I defaulted. They claim that they made several calls, but I did not receive any of them. Nor did they leave voice messages for me.  The fact I was never reminded that it needed to be in writing when I cancelled and gave them my bar code is appalling. I was made aware that their employees, specifically the one who took my cancellation on June 6th had plenty of training. Unfortunately, I feel was let down via the procedure of canceling. I had to pay $200 for a membership I did not have the opportunity to use because I had already cancelled and gave them my membership barcode.

He also stated that then he would want us to refund him. Member Service told him that we would not give him a refund as the balacne was owed. [redacted] did pay the collection agency right away and as he stated he would contact the Revdex.com.  International Fitness did try to resolve this when it defaulted in May but [redacted] did not respond, and account went into default.
