Thank you for the opportunity to explain our side.
Lawn Doctor has been in business for over 22 years in the Columbus area. As a Franchisor of Lawn Doctor Inc in Homdel, New Jersey; we must adhere to a high level of business practices. We take great pride in our customer service and find it very...

offensive that we are being accused of something that did not happen.  We have never cursed at our customers for any reason.
On the last application service invoice (11/7/2013) it is highlighted that your service will continue next year, unless otherwise notified.  We also mailed a prepay offer in December of 2013 for services in 2014 which also stated that services continue season to season unless otherwise notified. We did not receive any notification that she was unhappy with services in 2013 prior to servicing her lawn on 3/28/2014. On 4/15/2014 we were notified that she was unhappy with services in 2013. At that time we cancelled services for 2014 and began sending reminders that payment was due on a service provided prior to the conversation of 4/15/2014.
On 7/14/2014 Mr. [redacted] called to state for us to quit sending bills for a service that he was not going to pay for. I tried explaining that we were not notified prior to the date of service and that as a service provider we were due payment. He began to get irate on the phone stating he was not paying for the service. I was not yelling at him nor was I irate. I informed him that he was being sent to the collection agency and immediately hung up the phone. At no time did I curse at him. The business owner was present during the entire phone call and can verify that  I cursed at him.

Review: I have satisfactory completed my open water certification and my nitro x certification, and yet to date I have not received my cards. I have called PADI and been told they will send back out. I have called the local PADI Instructor who says the cards have been sent. But they have never arrived! I have seen similar complaints on Google. I have now cancelled a cruise and forfeited a portion of the fare as I am told the "email certificate" may not be allowed. I paid for the course, I passed the course, SEND ME MY CARDS!Desired Settlement: Send me my Cards!!!!! NOW!!!!

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I cannot open the document attached. Additionally the cards STILL have not been received through USPS, I paid PADI $24.00 to have them overnight to me via UPS, which I did receive. To resolve this matter, PADI needs to reimburse me the overnight fee of $24.00.

Regards,

We have worked together to reach an agreement, and the business has come forward in a very professional manner. I appreciate your assistance in this matter. If there is anything else I can/should do please advise. Regards,[redacted] C. [redacted]

Review: I joined the padi diving society for the second year I a row. I have not received the padi gear bag as stated on their advertising . I did not receive this bag on my first year of membership either. I spoke to a women in december and she told me the bag was on the way. 3 weeks later I spoke with a manager who told me the bag was in the mail. I told her at this point I did not care about the bag anymore and wanted a refund. She agreed and I have not received my refund or the bag and that was 2 weeks ago. Over the past 2 years I have spent thousands on padi coursesDesired Settlement: I want my refund. I dont believe a bag even exists at this point

Review: Took a Dive Master Course over seas, met all the requirements, including a CPR & First Aid Course. PADI won't give me my DM certification card cause they can't verify the first aid course. I met the prerequisite of conducting a first aid course at a local hospital taught by a certified doctor who also taught the military and police. But since PADI is unable to verify my course in a third world country, they won't release my certification, even though I have the required certificate.Desired Settlement: I want PADI to do one of the following:* Release my DM and trust their customer when I say I completed the required course and turned in the required documentation.* Refund my DM Course.* If they want me to take a First Aid course again, they should pay for it.
