I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.This is rather amusing.  Their story changes every time it's discussed/documented.  Their claims about the quality of their repairs, their statement that the scoop was "pried off", and their offer for reimbursement of my costs is misrepresented.  The scoop fell off because they failed to use the OEM pins and tape to hold it in place.  In our last phone call, they totally disavowed any responsibility or offered any assistance.  The only offer I've seen was one posted to Facebook, which was done solely to "save face" in front of their prospects and customers.  I have responded to that offer and asked them to send me their email address so I could forward the bills and they haven't responded.

Called business spoke with Mr. P[redacted] he stated that Mr. [redacted] had brought in his car that was totaled by insurance to be fixed. He requested for the repairs to be done at less than value. Mr. P[redacted] repaired the car as requested. The car was picked up and Mr. [redacted] left. After leaving Mr....

[redacted] had reached out requesting to have stripes painted on his car. Mr. P[redacted] stated he would do so but he had to wait 2 weeks before the stripes could be put on the car. Mr. [redacted] brought the car back to have the stripes put on the car. Once completed Mr. [redacted] had the car picked up and left happy. Mr. [redacted] reached out to Mr. P[redacted] 2 months after the work was completed to let him know that the scopes had fallen off of his car and he wanted it repaired, but he had moved out of state. Mr P[redacted] stated he requested pictures of the car and the scope to further look at. Mr. [redacted] failed 3 times to provide the pictures. Once the pictures were received and after closer look by multiple people it was determined that the scopes were pried off the vehicle because the tape that is used to hold them on was rolled downwards. The tape being used is the same type of tape that is used on Nascar vehicles because of how strong and tough it is. Mr. P[redacted] made an offer at the end of July to Mr. [redacted] to help him out stating he would split the cost of the repairs. That Mr. [redacted] could go get the work completed by a body shop of his choice and the body shop could call him to get partial payment that he would pay for half. Mr. P[redacted] stated he hasn't heard back from Mr. [redacted] since the offer was made. Since it has been so long now no offer is being offered because of the time frame that has passed.
