P Brito Driving School

My valid driver's license expired when I moved from New Brunswick to Toronto, with this city being mostly accessible by public transit as well as other means such as ***. I didn't see much of a reason to go through the extensive and lengthy process of becoming a valid drivers license holder. That was until a job promotion came my way and I was told I needed a valid drivers license to acquire this position.
I did my homework found government approved driving schools then cross referenced that with higher ratings in or near my neighborhood and found *** Driving School very convenient to me as it was directly on my route home from work.
On May 24, 2017 at approximately 1700 hrs. I stopped in and deposited $240.00 after getting five driving sessions the instructor advised me he was heading back to Portugal for three weeks, however before he did, he would set up my driving test and give me a call to let me know when it would be. I never heard anything from him, waited the three weeks and still never heard anything. I started calling his cell phone ***. Leaving messages with no reply I then went into the office again being told an appointment would be set up for me. Hearing nothing back again I called and got no reply, went into the office and left a message with again no reply. I now have spent the $240 still no license and no return calls. I'm not sure of what recourse I have at my disposal, other than lodge a complaint.
