Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I feel that I am talking to a wall. You are a disreputable vendor. You have been dishonest in your dealings with us. If you had to go to the dentist, why did you make the appointment. You knew that it was you we wanted to speak with and you were avoiding us. Your employee wanted us to leave the computer there, however at this point , we did not feel comfortable with doing so. We asked that you call us to work on resolving the issue- you choose not to call. When you give a verbal quote, people expect that is your word and you stand behind it. If your PC price was $125 that is what you should have quoted-not $85. That is what I paid you earlier in the year for this same computer. All I wanted was to get my screen fixed-not WW 111. However, after spending this amount, which I consider significant, I expect it to be fixed not fall out when I get home. Sincerely, [redacted]

As per your appointment with [redacted], when you called he told you he had a dentist appointment and that [redacted] (who replaced the screen) could answer any of your questions. When you originally called wanting to know what the labor price was, yes thats 85.00 "minimum" for repairs. Its also 125.00 for laptop repair. The sign s not new its been there for 3 years. The prior sign which said the same thing faded so we printed a new one 3 years ago. Anyone who has been in to have repairs on laptops knows that. Like I've said before, we have been in business for 17 years and our techs are very knowledgable on how to replace a screen. Your screen had no screws. The manufacturer made it with only glue and tape holding the screen in and thats how we replaced it. They've had several complaints of the screen falling out on them. We do not give refunds on labor. As far as the screen, when you brought it back the tech said it looked like the top was separating but you wouldn't let him touch it. If it was faulty glue, we can fix that. When it left here it was not falling out. And you did not call him the next day about the screen, you called him about the mouse being shaky. He offered to looked at it and you said you'd give it a couple of days to see if it worked itself out. Like I said before, if you bring it back in we can repair it with super strength glue which will have to be ordered. By the way, the 125.00 labor on laptops sign is also posted on our counter.

I am rejecting this response because: We have pictures of the screen that fell out. I called and spoke with [redacted] when I got home and saw it wasn't fixed. The screen was having a lot of issues that it didn't have when I took it in. The screen fell out due to their lack of technical skills. It should have never left their office like that. After this occured, my husband called to set up an appt with [redacted] to discuss the situation -on his lunch time-and we came to the office to meet him. He did not show. We told his employee to have him contact us. He did not-because he already had my money. He quoted me $85 on the labor and when I spoke with him the day I brought home the computer, I reminded him of that quote and he responded by saying he was sorry but the price was $125 for PCs, despite the quote he gave me. The day we went in for the appt he never showed up for, there was clearly a new posting on the wall that said PC labor was $125. The print was bold as compared to the other postings. My husband took a picture of that.  We have been crassly lied to and feel that he should be made to hold to a higher standard to his clients.

I took my computer in to get fix on April 6, they gave me the wrong computer.
when I went to pick up my computer, they had a white one just sitting there. I pay him cash, because over the phone he said to bring cash. my computer is silver and black. he said the the white one was mine. so I took it and hook it up to fine out it was not mine I took it back the very next morning. they said they never had a silver one. who ever worked on April 6 a wed night took mine. the owner must knew he took it because he agree with him. I called Dell to get receipt for when I order it from them. they told and sent a copy of the receipt and said mine was sliver and black. the one they try to give me was newer than mine but not in as good condition as mine. the owner was mean and hateful. called me names like a drug user. call me names over the phone. my brother who help me put it together and a other person who has worked on my computer will you are anyont the white computer is not mine. I want to press charges. at I thought it was a little mistake. now the owner had to be in on it.
