I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowOur entire post shopping experience with Urban Styles Furniture, which you describe as "unfortunate" has proven to be a such a significant source of wasted time, stress, and ill feelings that even your own word of "unfortunate" does not begin to scratch the surface. Just because Urban Styles has our signature on sheets of paper, that we originally thought represented mere sales receipts, does not lock us into suffer negligent business practices at your hands, entirely stacked against the best interest and respect of your consumer. Allow me to respond to your most recent statements, and then I will detail the outcome of our formal financial dispute with your company, decided by your creditor (Synchrony Bank) who recently sided in our favor First, in response to the timeline of events, we are in agreement. We came in on Saturday, placed the order on Sunday, and called to cancel the order on Monday, within hours of placing it. That part is simple and agreed upon. What we do not agree with however, are your statements about quality customer service, as we were misled by you regarding store policy. Your sales agent re-assured us over and over again that in the event we were uncertain of the furniture or not completely 100% happy with it, you would "work with us" to ensure our complete satisfaction. Don't like the color? -- "We'll work with you." It doesn't fit? -- "We'll work with you." Want to exchange it for something else? -- "We'll work with you." Even at the end, when we posed the question what would happen if we don't like any of the furniture, you responded, "We want you to love your new furniture, we wouldn't make you keep furniture you don't love." It is ironic how many times those promises were uttered, and yet, within hours of placing the order, you staunchly refused to cancel it even though we were 100% convinced we would never love the furniture. And it's not like the company has laborers in the back of a work shop somewhere, whittling away a custom order. Every item we ordered was a STOCK item. Urban Styles simply refused to complete the cancellation within hours of placement, and took a hard stance degrees against us, the consumer. Sadly, this comes as no surprise, having read the many complaints already filed against Urban Styles with the Revdex.com, where the company currently retains an F rating. Second, this case was formally disputed with Synchrony Bank, who offer potential woucustomers of Urban Styles Furniture lines of credit. After reviewing the business practices of Urban Styles, Synchrony Bank sided with us the consumer, and dropped the $line of credit opened by Urban Styles to complete this purchase. In other words, they were in agreement that the order has been canceled and cannot be completed, even if the furniture store really wants to. They have informed us that since no furniture has been received, no money can be collected / charged, and therefore the line of credit is null and void. Although Urban Styles made an attempt to try and apply a "re-stocking fee" to the order, they do not disclose anything of the like in their policy, and have no signed agreements with our signatures on hand to prove that they employ restocking feesUltimately, this would have been a complete contradiction anyhow to their original policy, since a company that says we offer no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations, cannot really flip flop and say after the fact, there's a re-stocking fee if you so choose to send back the merchandise. Yet, it comes as no shock that they might attempt something of the sort, as their already poor business practices and questionable code of ethics allow ample room for doing anything and everything to take a consumer's money We now consider this complaint closed, as Synchrony Bank has provided a formal resolution. We hope this final response serves as a warning to potential consumers to consider any and all options before setting foot in this store. In addition, if an unsuspecting consumer finds themselves in a dire situation similar to our's, there should be no hesitation in disputing the financial transaction posited with Urban Styles through their bank (Synchrony) and/or the consumer's personal bank, as these large financial institutions operate under a higher code of ethics then Urban Styles and will simply refuse to go along with their questionable business practices

My wife and I ordered a sectional 28MAYWe had a delivery date of that Thursdaythat day came and went without a callWe called back and had it scheduled for Saturday 04JUNAnd this is where everything just goes to ***
Only three of my four pieces were deliveredOut of the three pieces two were damagedOne heavly and the other minor, but we still wanted it exchangedSo we sent two of the three pieces back Granted we now only have a very small part of a sectional to sit on for the entire family since we moved our old furniture for the new arrivalWe ended up going into the store to exchange the ottoman for a new ottoman while we waited on other pieces of the couch to arriveWhen we picked that ottoman it was missing the pre-drilled holes for the feetSo we're not able to use the new one and had to order a third Now I am waiting on my third ottoman, my replacement love seat, and for the sofa that never came originallyWe constantly have to call with no updates or guaranteed deliveryWe seriously call twice a day just to see if we get the same answerAnd we have yet to get a day with the same answer on where our furniture is Even from the same person One girl even mentioned on the phone that it hasn’t even been ordered yet Even after the manager Mike said it had been rushed ordered and promised it would be delivered this weekEvery time we call they have an excuse on why it hasn’t arrived or why they can't deliver on the promised dateIf you read the Google reviews this is a very common complaint The manager Mike is a crook and will tell you anything to make a sale
Waiting for furniture for over a month when we were supposed to get everything a few days after purchaseSome people have been waiting over months! Don't buy from here because you will always be calling them to check where your furniture is and when you finally get your pieces they will probably be damaged and you will be doing this dance for months! They don't mention it when you are buying your items but there are NO REFUNDS, and all sales are FINAL!!!! Avoid this place at all cost if you value your money, time, and any form of customer serviceI have no idea how they stay in business with this type of behavior

I am responding to a complaint we received from you from [redacted]. I am attaching all the signed documents we have from Mrs. [redacted] in regards to her order with Urban Styles Furniture. On October 3, 2015 she and her husband came into our store and made a purchase with a total of $6673.59....

They paid for the order with $5500.00 with Synchrony Finance Company and $1173.59 with a credit card. Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] applied for, got approved, and signed and paid with our financing from Synchrony Bank. There was no pre-certification questionnaire. I agreed to hold the order for 24 hours before sending the special order in for fulfillment with our vendors. On October 4, 2015, Mr and Mrs. [redacted] came back in the store to look over the furniture they purchased again to make sure and confirm the order. Mr. [redacted] said they wanted to proceed with the order to the vendor. He asked me if there was anything else he needed to do and I let him know that we were all set. The payment was made by them the night before so I would submit the order and start the process of getting the furniture here. I did judt that. All of their furniture was ordered and is being produced for them as we speak. Our policy at Urban Styles Furniture states we cannot issue refunds after the order has been placed. Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] signed the purchase order that states that. They also signed the credit slip as well as the receipt for the financing with Synchrony Bank.I believe we provided a very good sale price, very good customer service, and very good personal attention to Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]. The letter Mrs. [redacted] wrote to you was very unfortunate. There were many things in the letter that simply did not happen. We pride ourselves on how we treat our customers. I believe we did everything we could do provide the [redacted]s what they wanted.
Per our policy, we cannot issue a refund for the furniture they purchased with us. We will however, do as we promised. We will get their furniture to them in a timely  manner, we will provide excellent customer service, and we will honor them with the repeat customer prices should they ever need any furniture in the future.

We had a couple minor issues with the delivery of Miss [redacted] furniture. The main problem was a mix up in color from the factory. We worked very hard to get the issue resolved as quickly as possible. I am sorry for the...

inconvenience Miss [redacted] had and we will be sure to take care of her in the future with any other purchases.  A far as our financing, we do not report to them about deliveries.
