If you want your HOA to go BANKRUPT use this companyOther wise keep away from them

Small company comprised of interrelated (think West Virginia) part time (always on vacation) family members/staff who lack the skills to effectively manage a large complex. Problem with staff and need to escalate to management? Ha. Good luck, you are literally complaining to your assigned reps mommy. How exactly did they get the contract?!!!
Lack of response to all written requests, period. You WILL be forced to follow up multiple times and micromanage them. Lack of professional appearance on not only their website (our HOA is not even listed, + multiple spelling errors), but newsletters and notices as well. Plus content and features listed on the initial page are not found or working within the various links. Any teenager could program a more complete and functional website. The only skills they possess are dodging calls and emails, and cashing homeowner checks. You will pay (dues) for a service they are incapable of providing.
Amateurs: C'mon, when sending out a CC&R violation letter, (we got one) you need to include the exact violation AND provide a deadline for compliance. Most homeowners (but not us) are NOT going to comply if there is no deadline, and there is no response to written requests for clarity. DUH..
If you call the staff and actually get a live person (congratulations), you will get information that directly conflicts with the published CC&Rs and (more importantly) the LAW! This "family/clan" clearly doesn't have the education, professional exposure and skills. You will be in a position of educating them. P&K are not the "resource" of information and services you are paying for and would expect to get from a legitimate property management firm.
Again, they may be "nice" when you can actually get a real person, but lack the required professional competence, maturity, size and scope of experience required to manage a larger complex professionally. Avoid them. If you sit on a HOA Board, they may be the lowest bid, and you WILL get what you pay for.
