P. P. C. Asphalt & Paving

Review: PPC came to my doorstep soliciting business. I agreed on paving my circle drive and driveway. They told me that it would be at least 4 inches thick and that you would be able to drive a semi on it without damage to pavement. Well, almost a year later with only my wife using it as a walking trail, the pavement has completely fallen apart, cracks everywhere. They did say that I would need to "Seal It" for an additional price, which I agreed to do, however, their phone number had been disconnected and I had no way of gettin' in touch with them to finish this paving work. I am totally dissatisfied with this paving work.Desired Settlement: Fix my driveway and circle the right way for no additional cost, or refund my $[redacted].

Review: May 11 2012 I was contacted by [redacted] of P.P.C. to grade and pave my private driveway. Cost was $3200.00 with a 1 year warranty. The pavement on the lower 1/4 of the drive began to breakup and P.P.C. was contacted on 2-5-13. Talked to [redacted] and was told they would be right out to repair. Nothing happened! Called [redacted] at [redacted] on numerous occasions and he promised the repair would be done. P.P.C. has had an unusual amount of equipment breakdown and this has been the latest excuse. Called [redacted] 6-14-13 and he said he would get right back with me but never called back.

Since Feb over 40 calls have been made to [redacted], Dill at [redacted], and [redacted] at 1-[redacted] (# now disconnected).Desired Settlement: Resurface and seal as necessary for a professional finish.

Review: We received an asphalt driveway from PPC who indicated we could get it at a low cost because they said they had extra asphalt they needed to get rid of. We agreed on a price and the work was done at night. I have been calling the company for 5 months to come out and repair cracks in the driveway and crumbling at the end of the road. A lady answered a couple of times and she said she would get them out to our house as soon as they came that way. We have never seen them again. Now we will have to have the driveway repaired due to log cracks down the middle of the road.Desired Settlement: We want the road repaired or monies to have it repaired ourselves.

Review: The purchase of asphalt was on 9/20/2011, a year later the material has began to thin and has caused holes in the driveway. Some areas are thinner than others and it is not holding up as it should.Desired Settlement: To repair or have more asphalt put down.

Review: PPC asphalt overcharged me for paving my yard. I am a 79 year old man that was in my yard one day and they stopped by saying they had leftover asphalt and they it would be a cheap price to pave my yard. The next thing I know they wanted me to give them $[redacted] cash and he said he could follow me to the bank. When I said no he said he would take $[redacted] cash a month to pay it off and finally after all the pressure I wrote him a check for $[redacted] for an asphalt charge that was way over priced and not quality work.Desired Settlement: The business has a responsibility to refund me my money for the bad job they did on my yard in addition to over charging and taking advantage of a 79 year old elderly man.

Review: [redacted] came to our home and wanted to pave our driveway after completing our neighbor's drive. The driveway was installed and the contract shows 1 year warranty from 10-22-12. The driveway is literally crumbling. There are many areas where the asphalt is not even an inch thick. [redacted] told us that he would install 2 to 3 inches of asphalt and it would be strong enough to drive an 18 wheeler on it. We have called PPC on several occasions beginning in December and the lady who answers always says she will send them out when they're in our area. They have not corrected the problem or responded to our numerous complaints.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund for the full amount or have the driveway to be resurfaced properly with the appropriate amount of asphalt.
