Review: I visited PS Hair on a few occasions leading up to this incident and had been overall been satisfied with the service that was provided. My last visit I had made my appointment one month in advance to work around my busy schedule. The service I requested on 11/01/13 was to have high and low lights with some layering for the cut. I paid $100 for the services and upon returning home noticed the color was blotchy and the cute was very choppy, uneven, one side didn't have layers whereas the other side had layers going for bottom all the way up and above my ear. The back had one prominent layer across the middle of my head. To say the least I was sick over it. I placed a call back to the salon and left a detailed message for stylist [redacted] to call me back, this was on 11/05/13. I received a call back from [redacted] and I express my concerns and asked for a partial refund, [redacted] advised she would need to speak with her boss, [redacted], the owner of PS Hair. Owner of PS Hair returned my call in approximately an hour. Explained to [redacted] my concerns with the color and cut and was told I would need to come back to the shop to have herself and another stylish "get their hand into my hair" whereas I explained I could not drive that distance, 30 miles, and I would be happy to send pictures of my hair that would clearly show the cut and color. Again she said I would have to come back to the shop and said she would give me a "full refund". I again explained I could not come back due to the distance. I sent two text messages with several pictures of my hair to the cell number she provided and left a message the following day with no response. I advised her via text on 11/08/13 she left me no choice but to file a complaint with the Revdex.com. This is when she responded to me, advising she would need to see the cut and color. I advised her I would not be going back to the shop and had an appointment that evening to have it fixed with another salon.Desired Settlement: I spent $100 on the hairstyle and I had to spend another $50 to get it corrected at another salon. I would like a refund of $50 which represents the amount I needed to spend to correct the issue. Therefore, I am only requesting a 50% refund which I think is very fair. I feel that driving 30 miles to the salon again would serve no purpose since I was not happy with the cut/color and having them "look at it" would not change this fact.

I spoke with [redacted] from the company and she stated that the consumer left the salon after getting her hair done and was pleased and then got in touch with the stylist a couple days later and wasn't pleased. [redacted] stated that the stylist, [redacted], tried to have the consumer come into the salon so she would see what was wrong with the consumers hair. [redacted] said the consumer did not want to come back into the salon. The consumer then got in touch with [redacted], the owner, about her hair and [redacted] said she also tried to get the consumer to come into the salon so she could see what happened and possible offer a refund but the consumer did not want to go back to the salon. [redacted] states that at this point she believes her and [redacted] went above and beyond for the consumer to help the consumer with her hair.
