P V D Landscaping Services

I contacted Mr [redacted] regarding landscaping work I needed done. This was in mid June 2013. We met, agreed on the work to be done and a price. He was given $2,500.00 (half of total) up front to pay for materials. At that point he said he would start next week. Three weeks later I called after not hearing from him. He said he meant to call, he was just really busy. These exchanges took place pretty much weekly until Late August when I asked for my money to be returned. At that time he stated that he had slready paid for most of the supplies and couldn't get his money back, so I was basically out of luck. Amazingly he was able to start the worek two days later. Excellent crew, worked really hard, so I figured what the heck, let it slide. All looked good. I was hospitalized a wekk later, so I lined people up to make sure everything was properly watered etc. I came home two months later to a front and back yard full of huge weeds. They had top dressed and seeded the lawn, which was a lush beautiful lawn to begin with, but was very uneven and hard to mow prior to th "landscaping". I looked out back to see how things were.... my beautiful pear tree that was six years old was toppled over and quite dead. It had started to look strange after they pruned it, but I fugured it would bounce back....NOPE, it croaked. The ground cover that he assured me would be totally eradicated has reared its ugly head all over my property and is already once again starting to choke out my bushes. So, at the end of the summer and five thousand dollars later, my property has never looked worse. I contacted him on Monday, Nov 4, 2013 because my plumber came out to snake out the front lawn drain, as I have done every winter. He could not find the pipe because the landscapers had top dressed and seeded over it !!!! Nightmare...do NOT use this business !!!
