This is the 1st we've heard of this complaintIt is hard to reply to a complaint when you don't have all the factsThe warranty that was offered *** *** was the best warranty we had available for that model year carIt is not uncommon for older European cars to seep oilSeeping is not the same
as leakingIt is also not uncommon if you go to a new car dealer to get an outrageously over inflated estimate to repair the vehicleWe would like to see a written estimate on the ** describing the problem and the suggested repairAt that point we can figure out what the best course of action isPlease note, it has been and 1/months since the car was purchased

Below is the email that was sent to ** *** by Ryan M***The point being he never called to try and work anything outHow can we assist in a matter when the 1st we hear of it is through a *** review? The Idea of offering assistance in these matters to alleviate the need to post a review in the tone the ** *** didThe fact that something was missed isn't in deputeWe are humanWe do feel the dealerships over sold the work neededWe have worked with customers in the past when given the opportunityWe were never give n an opportunity here.***,Hope all is wellI just received the review you posted on ***I am extremely disappointedIs there anyway you can send me the repair order you received from the *** store by you? We spent $1,on the *** before we listed it for saleI find it extremely hard to believe that a *** store was able to find $4,m*** dollars of repairs that needed to be doneI'm not questioning your honesty in this matterI'm more so questioning the honesty of the service department at this particular *** store*** is there any particular reason you haven't called us at all since purchasing the vehicle? We would have been more than happy to assist you with the "issues" you hadIts disheartening that we weren't even given the opportunity to make this situation rightEspecially after holding the vehicle for weeks so that you could purchase it.You noted in your complaint to the Revdex.com that the rotors were completely rusted throughThis is interesting to me because the *** was just PA InspectedIn fact it was Inspected by a mechanic shop that is not even affiliated with us.We stand behind the vehicles we sell hereThat's why there is a month 1,mile warranty on all of the vehicles we sellIn fact we would have even bought the *** back from you had we known you were this unhappy.I'm not sure what else to say at this point as the damage has already been doneLet me know if there is any further assistance you may need.Regards RYAN M***General Manager PA Auto Select *** *** ** DOWNINGTOWN, PA *** ###-###-#### www.paautoselect.com

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I would like to reiterate that I had two independent and reputable official *** dealers perform the inspections and work and was able to visually be shown all of the mechanical issues and witnessed the electric problems myselfI am completely frustrated with PA Auto select dealership for misrepresenting the vehicle and didn't feel that they had my best interest at heart to warrant contactThe fact they responded to my *** claim by basically accusing me of impossibly doing that damage to the vehicle myself during a hour drive was another example of their dishonest business practicesI posted pictures, and sent the general manager pictures of the rotted rotors, and was told that everything checked out with their mechanics and I must have done that on the mile drive back to Virginia Beach. If PA auto select would have offered to pay for all or some of the repairs we could potentially have a better outcome.

*** *** *** *** ***To whom it may concern,I did indeed receive the Title. However, the response from PA Auto Select that "The delay was caused by a vacation that our title clerk" is the same excuse he gave me on Tuesday 10/25, yet assured me that same day that the Title would be mailed out. Yet one week later he did not locate and mail the Title until he received a phone call from my lawyer. His insistence that his Title Clerk was unavailable is a fabrication which he was used to lie to me, my lawyer, and now to the Revdex.com. Even if his assertion were true, they should have informed me as the purchaser of the scenario instead of me having to wait nearly two weeks and then having to be the one to call them as to the whereabouts of the Vehicle Title. Additionally, this does not excuse the dealership and salesman putting me at risk for operating a vehicle they I paid for in full and yet did not own without the Title that they failed to provide in a timely manner.Regards,***

as per our conversation w/ [redacted] attorney yesterday the title would be overnighted to him. And it has been. The tracking number is  [redacted] and shows out for delivery. The delay was caused by a vacation that our title clerk. We apologize for any inconvenience that it may have...

caused

Based on the documents that [redacted] sent us it would appear that he was sold some unnecessary work It is now the business practice of franchised dealers to try and upsell anyone who comes in for a service appointment. We feel the [redacted] product line is one of the items dealers are using in this...

tactic. If [redacted] had contacted us before being upsold we could have gone through the list with him and weeded out what wasn't necessary and perhaps helped on what was. He choose not to contact us and we found out about the issues when we were notified of the review he posted on [redacted]. As far as what he thought was included in the price, We emailed his wife a completed bill of sale with all charges we were collecting on his behalf 3 weeks prior to them picking up the vehicle. Not only is it bad business practices to say the price includes fees and taxes, it is illegal. It was explained to them that we would not be collecting any of VA fees and the only other charges would be for the PA temp tag & registration along with processing and documentation fees for the deal. It was also explained that they would be responsible for the VA taxes and fees at time of registration. At no point was any VA registration title fees and taxes promised as part of the deal.
