Review: I had debited company for a rental property Credit check and holding fee. Holding fee was to be returned if denied for rental. After denial company has not refunded funds to my account first date funds were to be returned was June 26 date came and went I went in and spoke to manager stated that funds would be returned by the 3rd of July and if funds were not returned to call him and he would handle situation Problem with that was when I called on Friday about funds not being there I found out the manager was now on vacation and would not be returning for another week the secretary I spoke with was very rude and hung up on me. I called again on Monday morning to see if a check could be issued to me and was told that no one in the company could issue me a check and that they would check into the problem with the refund and call me back no return call from them as of yet. I am beside myself as to why this is taking so long and I do feel that I have been taken advantage of as a consumer I had no problem is giving them a holding fee Why are they having such a problem in returning it to me I just do not understand.Desired Settlement: I wish to have my funds returned to my account along with an apology from the company for all the problems they have created for me in the past couple of weeks. Its just not right what they are putting me through I can get a refund from any other company like [redacted] and the such in a matter of minutes this is taking entirely to much time it is like they do not want to refund my hard earned money.

Good afternoon,I am responding in regards to a complaint we received about not receiving a "debited company". I'm assuming after reading the customers statement they are referring to a debit due to a holding fee being placed. It is our policy that you receive the refund in the same way it was paid. In this circumstance, the holding fee was paid via credit card not a check. The refund of $300.00 was refunded to the credit card that was used to place the property on hold.
