Pabst Theater Reviews (2)

Review: Pabst/Riverside/Turner Hall advertised a special price on Cyber Monday for tickets to their event The Get Down NYE for two(2) different packages options. One package (Basic) was for $40 on their advertisement and the other (Platinum) for $55. The only difference between the two packages since the event is general admission was the type of alcohol served (rail v call). The business had an expiration date of 11:59pm to purchase either one of these two packages. Tickets for the Basic Package were attempted to be ordered before the time expiration however the business took the Basic Package off the site before the expiration in attempt to only sell the Platinum Package for more money. The following day they reposted the Basic package for the higher price. A visit to the place of business was made and they took my name and number for a manager/supervisor to return about my inquiry. No call was returned to me by any manager/supervisor. The employees the next day claim there was an "allotment" for the special price but none of their advertisements made this reference. Screen shots were provided to the business of the attempt to purchase the Basic package within the timeframe, a copy of their advertisement with no reference to allotments, the reposting of the Basic Package the following day and another post they made to their Facebook page.Desired Settlement: Sell me the tickets I attempted to purchase @ the $40 price mark not the elevated price they are trying to charge now

[redacted] was unable to purchase a "Cyber Monday" deal due to an error in our online ticketing system. We immediately contacted [redacted] when we received the Revdex.com letter from you. He was given the "Cyber Monday" deal and picked up his new tickets in person today. Receipt attached.

Review: My wife purchased 6 tickets for the [redacted] concert on sept.23 2014. She bought these tickets 3 months in advance. The tickets were $85.00 @ the original seats were Section 1 LC row D seats 5 --11. Now 1 week before the show the venue has changed to the smaller Pabst Theater from the Riverside Theater. The seats are not the same. They are on the far left side of the theater. 1 floor left row C seats 1-6. the csr / ticket person was rude ,in my opinon, told my wife and myself, in a follow up call, that those were the best seats she could have because the venue was smaller. That's not our fault. 3 months ago when my wife bought the tickets, she was happy. Now ,they have taken her money. Required her to drive down to the Pabst theater. And had to deal with a rude and uncaring Ticket rep.Desired Settlement: Better seats comparable to the 6 x $85.00 tickets she originally received. and an apology from the rude women.

Response:

I recently received your forwarded complaint from [redacted]. I'm happy to report that this matter has been resolved. When I received the complaint I immediately called the provided phone number and had a productive and positive conversation with [redacted] on September 23rd around 3pm CST. [redacted] was concerned that their seats were being moved because last time they saw [redacted] it was at the PAC in the 1990s and their view of the stage was blocked. The new Pabst Theater seats our box office provided to Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] were the same distance from the stage as their previous seats at the Riverside Theater and [redacted] had a clear view of the stage. The concert was moved from the larger Riverside Theater (2,450 capacity) to the much smaller Pabst Theater (1,340 capacity) due to low tickets sales. This was done to assure a better concert experience for the artist and customer. I met [redacted] and [redacted] on the night of the concert and [redacted] was thrilled with their seats. I apologized to [redacted] for the frustrating situation. In addition, I provided [redacted] with three concert posters, a tote bag, and coffee mug totaling over $75 that the Pabst Theater Group paid for. We also provided for the first round of drinks for [redacted] and her entire group. About half way through the show I checked in on [redacted] and she thanked me for all our help and attention.
