After an exhaustive search for the obsolete hardware we have found a source that matches the current hardware so we may complete the warranty work of the rusted hardware. We are calling the customer today, 9/14/17, to set a date for the work to be done and completed at no cost to our customer.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. We have had many conversations with Pace. They refused to give
installation manual or proper drawing as to how they would resolve
problem. Had to have someone else fix problem as weather & insects were infiltrating openings in house left by Pace installers. Had to repair interior damage caused by Pace improper installation. The put lien on house. Regards,  [redacted]

Consumer left a message for the Revdex.com on 6/24 that the complaint is resolved. The company came within 24 hours of receiving the complaint.

Pace windows did an excellent job on my 9 windows that I finally replaced. There was a five man crew that got it done in one day. Cleaned as they were working on each windows. The salesman did a good demonstration of the windows and what we were expecting. It took while but the wait was worth waiting for!!!! I didn't have problem with them. Everything works and if I have a problem I know who to call and it will be covered. Its nice to look out my windows now...

Pace Window and Door did a signed contract  with Mrs. [redacted] on 3/14/17 to install the above job at [redacted]. in Amherst NY. This was contracted as a retro fit install and not a rough opening installation. It is standard practice to place the windows against the existing interior jamb,...

which Pace did. The 2 day install started on 4/6/17 and was to conclude the following day, 4/7/17. Mrs. [redacted]'s son stopped the project the afternoon of the 6th and expressed his dissatisfaction with our installers at that time. Our installers tried to explain how we put the replacement windows into the openings, but Mr. [redacted] refused them to continue. The Pace installation manager tried to explain to Mr. [redacted] as well on the following day how we install and the job will be properly finished, but to no avail. Mr. [redacted] wanted the measure person and our installation manager to come to the job to inspect. Pace did so on 4/24/17 and explained again, in person, how we will finish the job. Mr. [redacted] was still not satisfied and required the Town of Amherst to get involved. Also, Mr. [redacted] explained to me on 5/3/17 he wanted a drawing as to how we would finish the job. The drawing was sent 5/8/17 via email to Mrs. [redacted]'s email address which was on the contract. After several attempts in contacting the town, Mr. Larry Hull, building inspector for the town, explained to me on 5/9/17 that the job did not need a permit and we would need to handle with the customer that everything appeared fine on their end. On 5/11/17 I called Mr. [redacted] to see if he received the drawing and he stated that he had not and he would look at his mother's email. On 5/ 19/17 Mr. [redacted] stated that he reviewed the drawing and did not like it, not what he wants in terms of installation. I again told him this is how we do the installation and we have never had an issue. Still not satisfied. We attempted to have a third party look at this job and he told us in no uncertain terms that he didn't want anyone else coming to the home.  Pace's general manager, Michael [redacted] sent Mrs. [redacted] an email on 6/2/17 expressing our concern as to having these windows unfinished on the exterior and having implications with weather we need to get these finished. We never heard back via email or phone. I spoke to Mr. [redacted] again on 6/5 trying to resolve the issue of completing the job and he stated that he had the job completed by another person.  We attempted to resolve this issue several times. I last spoke with Mr. [redacted] later on 6/5/17 trying to come to a negotiated price to fulfill our contract of the amount owed or some of the amount owed and he told me to "walk away" that he is done with the matter and to contact his lawyer. Pace put a lien on Mrs. [redacted]'s home the following week per certified mail on 6/14/17  per our right. We are willing to talk about a settlement.

Pace gave us a good price on 6 upstairs windows, only a couple hundred dollars more than one of their competitors quoted us for 4. The installers were quick and left the work site quite clean. I was pleased that they would donate our old windows to Habitat for Humanity. The windows look great, and they make a difference to the warmth in the upstairs rooms. I would definitely call on Pace again.
