Review: As a reference from a friend, [redacted] (from [redacted] Setter Photography) came to my home to do a family photoshoot for my mothers 80th birthday on 11/16/2013. As per her requirements, I paid her $125 before the photoshoot and $150 after she completed taking the photos. She sent me a link on 11/21/2013 with 74 photos that she took at my home and told me to make my selections. On 11/27/2013, I sent her an e-mail with my selections. Since then I have been sending her e-mails, text messages, and phone calls asking her when my photos will be finalized. She finally got back to me and sent me what she calls "courtesy photos" in the mail, since she had them already printed as test photos. These "courtesy photos" were not quality photos and had an orange tint to them. I e-mailed her to let her know that they were not quality photos, however, I did not worry too much because she said that they were only courtesy photos. She said that she will complete my photos and send me the proofs to review before she send them to me. I have been calling and texting her asking for a date and I have not gotten a response. I am starting to worry and I feel as if she took my money and now I have nothing to show for it. It has been two months now and my mother is asking for her photos, which I have nothing to give her.Desired Settlement: I would like for [redacted], from [redacted] Setter Photography, to complete my photos and send them to me as we agreed. The photos are of a sentimental value to my 80 year old mother, who keeps asking me for her photos. They were suppose to be her christmas gift."If" she can not send me the photos I would like a full refund.

Photographer and assistant provided services at customer residence in Bronx, NY. Completed the followingzPortrait of Mother, Large Family Group Photo, Mother & Son, Mother and Daughter, Son and Family and Husband/Wife. After viewing (70) photos online, customer was satisfied and requested numerous edits, such as remove item from child's hands, move couple to appear closer, remove window from all photos, edit eyebrows and stated she wanted a beige border and asked that we remove any wall decor from final photos. She also requested digital images. Customer stated that process was taking too long and she did not understand the reason. In December 2013, the customer was dissatisfied. After talking with customer, we explained the process and offered to mail her the prints we prepared in December 2013 as a courtesy since the photos were completed. Customer received the courtesy photos (value $150) and stated she did not like the coloring or how the walls looked. We are willing to give customer the original (70) digital images within 7 business days and a refund of $100.00. The customer will have the ability to download, save and print the photos. The $100.00 refund will be credited to customer within 7 business. Customer will have 14 days to download photos upon receipt of link
