In response to the above referenced case number, we would like to point out the following inaccuracies in Mr*** ***'s statement to you. Mr*** was given the opportunity to have a walk through inspection of the property prior to his vacating, but he chose not toWe do have
written documentation that he was given this opportunityHe chose not to have the pre-move out inspection and in fact, did not speak to any one at Pacific City Properties regarding the condition of the home prior to his vacating it. Mr*** claimed to have the carpets cleaned, which was a contractual obligation of his upon vacating the premiseWhen we did do our inspection, after Mr*** vacated, we found that the carpets had not been cleaned, they were badly stained and had some wax or gum imbedded into the carpetThere were still furniture indentations in the carpet which would indicate that he never had the carpets cleaned as he claimed. One of our staff did contact Mr*** and asked him to provide the name of the carpet cleaning company that he claims to have used, as well as a copy of their invoice so we could have them return and do, or complete the job, before we sent in our own carpet cleanersHe did not provide that information to us after two requestsPlease see our attached move out photos regarding the condition of the carpet that Mr*** claims was cleaned. In regard to the condition of cleanliness that Mr*** claims to have left behind, you can see by the photos of all the items he left in drawers and cabinets as well as the dirty ovenIt was Mr***'s obligation to leave the unit clean, which is obvious by the attached photos that he did not. Mr*** is a bully who uses his authority as a law enforcement officer to try to intimidate people into giving him more than he deservesWe would be very happy to present our case to a judge and would be confident of a win in courtMr***'s complaint to you was full on untruths and fabrications and we believe that you can see the truth for yourself after looking at our move out photos of the premises.
