Review: Our reservation for May 1 to 5th was cancelled on 4/15 by PCVP. Our personal check cleared bank on 4/13 then a called on 4/15 from PCVP that the property would not be ready, and we were offered a refund. On 4/19 we requested the refund to be overnighted to us at our cost. As of today 4/26 we have not received our refund, or a call to when we can expect the refund from [redacted]. It has been hard to get them to answer or respond to our emails, texts, and phone calls.A call today to my credit card was successful in getting my deposit money returned from a Jan deposit on this reservaton. Do you have any similar complaints from PCVP? Can you offer any suggestions or have we been scammed? [redacted] and [redacted] ###-###-####Desired Settlement: We asked for the refund to be overnighted to us at our cost. We expected it to arrive on a Monday 4/22 or Tuesday 4/23. We followed all their requirements on time. A phone call from [redacted] to inform us when to expect the refund would be appreciated and assure us we are dealing with a professional person. At this time we are in CA visiting with families, and had plans to be in San Diego for Point Loma graduation 5/4.Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Review: We rented a home from PCVR at the end of June. My credit card was immediately charged $2092. and included a $48.75 processing fee. I did not want to pay this ridiculous fee and after speaking with [redacted], agreed to send an echeck the next day, upon which he agreed to cancel/refund the credit card payment. He never did this. We resorted to a dispute claim with the credit card company to get our money back. I am currently trying to get him to refund the credit card processing fee which he (ironically) added onto the echeck as well ($48.75). I also left two shirts at the house which he promised to send back if I wrote him a five-star review to quote him.This guy is an incompetent and an opportunist and I would strongly discourage anyone from doing business with him. Numerous calls and emails to his company proved futile and I am now appealing to Revdex.com to help resolve this matter.Desired Settlement: I simply want the $48.75 credit card processing fee refunded and would love to get my shirts back. Obviously I offered to pay postage and [redacted] response was that he would cover it if I wrote him a great review.

I am very happy to inform you that following my conversation with [redacted] last week, I received a package (10/15) containing a refund check for $48.75 as well as my two shirts, successfully resolving this situation.

Apparently I misunderstood the process of credit card claims and have realized that the refunded amount of $2092 was indeed procured from Mr. [redacted]’s company - in light of this I would like to retract my statement calling him an opportunist.

It was never my intent to hurt Mr. [redacted] or his company but simply to get my stuff back, so if it is within Revdex.com protocol, I no longer see the need to post this complaint. If it is too late, please advise regarding the amendment or retraction of my complaint.
