I am having a hard time getting them to cancel and return the money already taken I had to insist to a few different managers(?) that the fellow I dealt with I had said no, but that I would be referring to him after discussing this with my mother She did remind me that I had submitted a refusal only a day or two after joining The first manager told me that I could no longer refuse, but he did lower the amount lent to me I had to reach a 2nd manager yesterday, she told me that they would return all the money and that I would be receiving an email soon Still waiting for it

On April 30th, Mr and Mrs [redacted] enrolled in our debt settlement program to assist them with unsecured debts totaling approximately $10,They enrolled due a very tight budget which was making it very difficult for them to remain current on their bills On April 13th we completed both our Welcome Call and Quality Assurance call with Mrs [redacted] to confirm the client's complete understanding of the programAt that time we laid out a game plan for the client's program -- our first intention was to settle with Bill Me LaterAdditionally we re-reviewed all program aspects in our Quality Assurance call and at that time the client voice no concerns In fact two days later on May 15, the client faxed in all of the creditor statements to add to their file On May 21st, the client called in and left a voicemail as well as sent an email requesting to cancelAs is customary the Account Manager [redacted] cancelled all pending drafts and forwarded the request to our customer service manager for follow up, to ensure the request was handled properlyMr [redacted] received an email to this effect from [redacted] as well On May 22nd our customer service team reached out to Mrand Mrs [redacted] two times to assist with their requestMr [redacted] from PDI left a voice mail at 12:pstShortly thereafter Mr [redacted] sent in an another email stating he had filed a complaint with the Revdex.com since he felt he had no choice in the matterI personally reached out to Mr [redacted] and reached him on a number that he previously had not provide our company (his work line)At the time we spoke I resolved the matter to the client's satisfaction by closing the account and refunding the money that was contractually due In reviewing the circumstances of this complaint we do not feel that the consumer gave our Company ample time to resolve this matter before filing the complaintIt is our goal resolve all customer service inquiries within 24-business hoursIn this case our company did just that Please contact me directly if there is anything further required Regards, [redacted] Director of Operations 1-619-238-x***

I first contacted Pacific Debt after looking at reviews and ratingsAfter I have provided consent to have them check my credit report I was surprised for them to say the will refer me to a different company (DMB Financial) to continue he settlement processAt first I was surprised, didn’t complain but I didn’t like it muchThis was the first negative point Then is when I first asked for them to provide me in writing the agreement where all terms and conditions are detailedThe agent (Jeremy) told me they first needed my bank account and possible dates when to start the deductions (!!??) from the accountThis is the second negative point The third negative point was the pressure they put on me to provide the bank account information and start the plan right awayI will NEVER start a plan without having something in writing, something they were never willing to provideFourth negative point In one of our last conversations with Jeremy I have told him I didn’t like the idea of working with a third party companyThen he offered me (finally) the option to work with themAgain, I asked for their terms and conditions in writing, which of course, they haven’t providedAnd Again Jeremy has said we already explained everything verbally (he did) and that the paperwork will say the same thing and that they needed my bank account information (again!)Fifth In my last conversation with him he expressed his doubt that I wanted to enroll in their settlement planThat he spoke with me too many times without resultsAgain, I have told him I have never received anything in writing and that I won’t provide my bank account information previous to thatAfter that, I decided to thank him for his (wasted, according to him) time and hang up My recommendation, never go to this companyVery unpleasant and questionable way of doing things
My phone number has been on the do not call registry since and this business keeps calling me and I can't get them to stopThey have to use the do not call list to filter their call listsThis is required by FEDERAL LAW, and they are NOT doing itThey are BREAKING A LAW and annoying people

I would like to say how totally pleased I am with Pacific Debt They have been professional, yet friendly and respectful and have helped me reduce over half my considerable debt in a very short time They gave me sound advice which helped advance the procedure considerably They always respond quickly, whether to a phone call, email or mail and make me feel that my business is indeed important to them I would highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of assistance

I have had minimal contact with my account rep (which by the way has changed several times over the last year and a half) and often times it is because she made some sort of financial error and wants more money to fix it (miscalculated a settlement offer)That said, the customer service is not the worstIn fact, I feel like they have quite the sales team because man can they pitch their service Here is my warning about my experience: If you use this company, make sure you fully understand how they operateDo not let them summarize the contract over the phone, get off the phone and read it word for word Their services do nothing that you can't do yourselfThey will not settle your debts and have you pay them backThey set up an escrow account and will settle debts as your funds become available (after you start accumulating money in the account) and they will only settle with what you have available So if you put in the minimum amount, they will only work with one or two of your creditors They charge MASSIVE feesI am charged almost 1/in fees of what I am putting in to the account, have been working this resolution for over a year and have creditors still threatening judgments I am paying $a month in settlement fees (they CHARGE A FEE OF TWENTY-TWO PERCENT "22%" of the original debt at the time you enroll in the program- it is not based on the amount they settle it for), I pay a $for a monthly service fee, another $for a check payment fee and a $phone fee (??? No clue what that is) I could have saved that money each month to go towards my debts and paid them down much fasterIt’s a shame that I didn’t read the fine print, but I was just so excited by the thought of freeing myself of this debt burden and honestly was worn down and didn’t want to deal with itI will be closing my account with them to prevent them from settling any other debts and add extra cash to the account to pay of my settlements quicker to save myself those extra monthly feesI would recommend you just open a separate account that you won’t touch and throw a few hundred in there each month and work with your creditors yourself They don’t stop the calls, they don’t expedite the recovery, they start by working with collection agencies they have good relationships with and settle the debts at what I would figure are higher rates than you could probably do yourself
