Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/08/20) */
We worked with [redacted] for four months; I first took her loan application over the phone. She goes by [redacted], when her credit was first pulled it was with her first name as [redacted]. At the time of the call we requested financial documentation if...

in fact she would like to move forward with the transaction. Shortly after she had everything together the [redacted] agreed to pick up her documents from her. Once we had the documentation we realized her legal name was [redacted] so we pulled credit to reflect that correctly for the loan file. At that 2nd Credit Pull her score dropped below the minimum required for conventional financing. We did credit repair and brought the score back up. The credit had to be pulled a 3rd time to reflect the credit repair. When the loan was approved we had to wait for the rates to come down to give her the desired rate she was looking for. After a couple months of waiting. The credit report expired by that time and we had to pull it a 4th time. At that time her score went up considerably. I will attach the letter and the page showing the many number of credit pulls that do not belong to Pacific Funding Group. This client has had several companies pull her credit. In addition [redacted] and her husband [redacted] still have outstanding invoices for all the work done on their file. We have tried to contact them recently with no response.
Inquires on Credit Reports have to drop off over time. They cannot be removed.
Thank You

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/08/21) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
There was never a problem with my credit. Get it right. Pacific funding did not do any credit repair. They were supposed to get a refinance for my home. [redacted] never told me that because of a low score we would have to outside the harp refi. He shopped us around, contacted my bank regarding my insurance, had my lien holder changed, had an Appraisal done that wasn't needed. He quoted me so many different rates, and ended with trying to make me pay $2000. For a better rate. I have since refinanced, at the rate I requested at no charge and the company was able to view our credit reports, see the several unapproved hits to our credit and dismissed them as frivolous checking and approved us. I have the emails and the voicemail to show that [redacted] was aware I was going with another company and checked my husband's credit anyway. If they were trying to improve my credit, why is there 15 hits to our credit from Pacific funding and their affiliates? Wouldn't that lower our credit making it harder to get a refi? One of the companies that [redacted] had check my credit is the company that ended up as lien holder on my homeowners. Someone over is intentionally confused. If the credit checks are to remain for up to two years, we will be following up in another manner. Thank you

I appreciate [redacted] responding in a kinder manner but am still not happy that they have not attempted, to my knowledge, to clear any of the inquiries off of our credit. I would have appreciated a call from the company, which I had previously requested. I would have hoped this would have been handled differently and appreciate the Revdex.com being available to help in trying to bring this to a comfortable close. I have viewed the company's response and have read the letter but unfortunately am still in disagreement with their stance on this. Should the company wish to call, I would be more than happy to furnish what I have so that they may spend their energy correcting this problem.
