I don't understand how another garage diagnosed my cars problem for $and Donovans couldn't figure it outThey only fixed part of the problem and they charged me $and had no solutions when I called them days later to tell them it was not fixed.I now have to repay someone who knows what they are doing to complete the job that they started, charged me for & did not fix

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

Donovans had at least (3) opportunities to properly diagnose my carIf I recall correctly it was about days from the last time you had my car until it was PROPERLY diagnosedFixing half the problem and charging full price is just poor businessGrow a pair, own the fact that your mechanic made a mistake & take proper action(Refund me the labor fees) My car is currently being properly repaired for $1400.

To whom it may concern, In response to the last email we received attached was an invoice stating that we had taken all necessary actions to test for a blown headgasket unfortunately test results came back negativeIt is very likely that over the course of months and unknown amount of miles that your headgasket problem worsened hence the reason why they performed the same test and got a different result than us The 930.00$ you speak of was to address two separate problems the first was to address a check engine light unrelated to overheating issue which you paid $the other charge was to address the noise that was coming from behind the timing cover which you paid $This was stated on your first invoice which I had attached and highlighted The bearing was bad in the water pump (reason for the noise) which could allow the water pump to not effectively do its job and could result in an overheating issueWe found no other coolant problems at the time that the vehicle was here nor were we able to ever duplicate an overheating problemStated on your second invoice we had in writing that the vehicle could have additional problemsThis situation was an unlikely chain of events but could not have been addressed in any other matter and all company policies and procedures were followedAll work that was performed was neededIn closing we take pride in all work and only do what’s best for our customers

To whom in my concern at Revdex.com, I am responding in regards to a complaint filed by a Mr. [redacted] that in his last visit we had misdiagnosed a blown headgasket.   Attached to this email are Mr. [redacted] receipts from his last visits with us here at Donovan Tire. You will find the...

service dates of his visits, as well as his service requests and notes that I have highlighted as well. All technician notes were stated to the customer on the phone as well had printed on the following invoices which Mr. [redacted] received when he was checking out. Mr. [redacted] was told on multiple occasions that his vehicle could have blown headgasket, but after the test was conducted the results came back negative. There are no further tests nor any other procedure that could be performed to conclude that Mr. [redacted] did in fact have a blown headgasket. I feel that every test and procedure was taken advantage of for the best interest of Mr. Meeden.

I don't understand how another garage diagnosed my cars problem for $25 and Donovans couldn't figure it out. They only fixed part of the problem and they charged me $930 and had no solutions when I called them 4 days later to tell them it was not fixed.I now have to repay someone who knows what they are doing to complete the job that they started, charged me for & did not fix.
