I purchased a D R H home, escrow date - 4/26/17, and the GE appliances were installed through Servco. Recently, I noticed, along with the foreman - Dave S, that the refrigerator was placed in a way that dig into and damaged the vinyl flooring in the kitchen. The refrigerator had never been moved. Also, the foreman noted that the wheels on the fridge did not roll.
While I'm sympathetic to any inconvenience Mr. has experienced, Servco's business relationship is with DR H. They purchased appliances from us and we delivered and installed them to the jobsite. A representative of DR H accepted the appliances in good condition and made no notations about any damage to any appliance or to any portion of the home. I understand Mr. is working with DR H on a solution to his issue and I hope they can come to an equitable resolution.
Please note that as part of the installation process, the refrigerator legs are often extended to insure the unit is level and does not accidentally move. That was done in this case, and is part of the normal installation process.
