I received a letter from this company on today stating that if I do not pay $1057.22 by 11/15/19 for a payday loan that a lawsuit will be filed against me and along with charges to commit fraud and wire fraud. In order to get a copy of the original issue and to make arrangements I called their number ***. However, the number is not active I received a call failed message. The address on the letter, ***, is listed to a Ronald ***. should I be concerned?

Dear Ms.,
We apologize that you were unable to reach us.
Sometimes we are unable to take each phone call due to extremely heavy call volume. Please feel free to call me, Dan ***, directly at the same number and by dialing my extension ***.
In the event that you do not recognize this debt, the next step is for us to send you the original documents and application for this bill for your records. We will not take any action until you have received the documents.
We would also be happy to work with you on a small monthly payment plan that fits within your budget at anytime.

Kind regards,
Dan

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

Felicia

On 07/29/2019, I received a letter stating that if I do not pay $811.93 by August 2, 2019, a civil judgment would be filed against me and this would result in immediate wage garnishment and a lien on my personal property, bank account or automobile. I immediately called the number and they said the loan was from 2009. I told them that its been over 10yrs and the statue of limitations has passed for a debt so I do not owe it. Then he laughed at me and said "we will see about that"

We received a letter from Pacific Law Group telling us we owed over $1,300. Knowing this is legitimate claim, I sent an email to paclg.com. We were unable to pay the $1300+ balance in full so I sent a small payment of $50.00 and an email explaining a medical condition that has made it very hard for us to keep up on bills. I sent a letter from our doctor as well, just so they knew I wasn't just trying to get pity from them or make excuses. I received an email back from them the same day accepting the payment arrangement and reducing the total owed to $150 after the $50 payment. This was shocking and much appreciated so I sent a thank you back indicating I would make the remaining payment on time each month. I received another response back thanking me for the communication and that they would remove our debt due to the medical condition. Debt collection isn't easy for the people calling or the the people who owe the money; it is so nice to know there are companies out there that have heart! Thank you so much PACLG

This people sent me an alleged legal letter with a file number and in a harassing manner indicating that they were going to subpoena 2 personal friends to testify in court . This scavenger alleged law group is alleging that I owe an X amount of money to them and that if I dont pay them by June 28 they are going to garnish my wages and take my car and house and cause me problems at work.

They are also saying that they will file charges of fraud in my local court because threy are alleging that I knowingly closed my bank account to prevent a certain Pay Day loan company to get their payment. The reason my bank account had to be close was because my identity was compromised a couple of times so the bank sugested to close it.

Also I do not recognize the alleged debt their talking about and I have never made any contract with this law group. I have asked them via email to provide me with a copy if the original alleged debt so I can review it and they have not responded.

I received a letters stating the same thing as other people. In this later it stated if I didn’t pay by a certain date I would be facing charges. It also mention they would have people who where listed as reference go To court and testify against me. threaten To garnish my wages and place lien on my property, bank account and to report to all 3 credit bureaus. Before checking anything I panicked and paid the amount. I have worked so hard to keep up with my credit and this kind of threats really put me on the edge. I now feel stupid for paying and not looking into it. And I also have issues with people trying to apply for jobs with my social security number.

I received a letter in the mail in 4/1/2019 stating the amount is due on 4/12/2019. I immediately called the company requesting proof of the original debt. When I called I spoke to a male who did not disclose his name. I let him know that I would like a copy of the original debt as I have had a few things going on with my credit and identity. He said yes, I can get you copy. He pulled this information and stated it was from 2009 and do I recall it. I explained that I have used payday services before, but I did not recall this particular loan. He then stated, lets reduce it to 300.00 dollars. I informed him my goal was not to reduce the amount, but actually get proof of the debt. He started screaming and telling me I was too intelligent and at this point he was bullying. Their Website states there has been legal action taken against me and I have visited Gwinnett County Municipal Court and there is no such pending action.

Received a letter from Pacific Law Group stating I owed a Payday Loan that I’ve never received. The letter also stated that if I don’t pay the balance by a certain day then my mother will be subpoenaed to come to court as well. They gave me their Web address www.paclg.com and when I looked this company up online and I cannot find them. They also stated if I didn’t pay then I would be criminally charged with Fraud.
