Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted]
This is yet another one of their unacceptable business practices. He is the owner of the company yet refuses to address the complaint. I am assuming from his response that he forwarded the email to his managers.  The company has not attempted to resolve my issue in any way.
Thank you.

Review: I had my bachelorette party on November 9, 2013 and it was an amazing evening, but the limo company is not to thank in the slightest.

1. Limo Driver showed up super early: 9:30 means 9:30 not 9:00...

2. I was not told when I made the reservation that I need to pay cash on the day of service. There was simply a statement that REMAINING balance would cost a minimum of $25... You take my reservation with a credit card, take the rest. What the hell crap customer service is this? I was also told that if I didn't pay the whole remaining balance in cash, right there, they could charge a MINIMUM of $25... But realistically I was told they could charge any amount they desired. Which to me is incredibly fraudulent. Also, [redacted] did not state there were any kind of constituencies before I made the reservation... It was all sent after I placed my deposit.

Thankfully 2 of my people dropped out of the party... I was told that the customer section of the Limo held 10 people. We fit 8 in... It was a 10 passenger, which means 1 driver 1 passenger in the front and then 8 in the back, even though [redacted] stated it would fit 10 in the back...

I feel like I was misled. And apparently I am not the only one. I get that people can sometimes get [redacted] reviews, and I made a judgment call. I was reassured that everything would be as I requested... But then it all came down to the level of professionalism.

I don't like to waste money, so I got a good deal, but at $340 it still is a lot to pay for crap to hit the fan.

3. The Limo was is incredible dis-repair.

- Ripped seats

-Broken Aux Cable for Stereo

-Stained Floor

-Broke- [redacted] speaker system (sounded like they blew out the base)

-Broken Heater

-Busted A/C

4. Driver was a selfish man.

I asked if we could take over the controls for the sound system and he said no because he could get any song we wanted. His song selection sucked and totally killed the mood.

HE DROVE LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL. My guests literally feared for their lives driving on the I-8 in San Diego as they were jostled around and moved from their seats...

While he did help us out by getting us VIP to Double Douce, I am pretty sure if I would have walked up to them in my little Bachelorette outfit, they would have let me and my guests in regardless (it happened in multiple clubs)

Not only did he drop us off at Double Douce, he came inside and partied with us... I'm sorry, but I didn't ask for that. BACHELORETTE party. Women only. Not some strange man intruding on my special event...

At that point I felt like I couldn't ask him for anything. And my friends and I fended for ourselves to get around to our various clubs.

The night finally drew and he picked us up: it was freezing and windy and the HEATER DID NOT WORK!!!!!

Also, we asked for Radio Silence so we could decompress and he refused to allow us silence. Then I turned off the music myself and he decided to put his music on full blast in the front end where I had no control.

When we got back, I paid the man the remainder of the balance and he stood there as if he had been a good boy and deserved a treat. I walked away.

Response:

WOW Dont mean to be unprofessional with my response .. and I really tried to search for a more professional description. but there is no other word for it but Very Ungrateful.. In all my years I have not ever had anyone complain about a limousine showing up early.. and it was 9:15 Pm according to our dispatch notes ,when he arrived. We always want I drivers to If possible to be 15 minutes early for spot time...As far as the Limousine only being an 8 passenger ,This is also NOT true it is registered with the PUC as a ten passenger and put ten adults in this car all the time.. . ..

Review: Payment using a credit card was provided prior to service (their policy).

Agreed contract was not fulfilled.

Limo was in terrible shape:

NO air-conditioning (16 people/over 90 degrees outside)

No water, sparkling cider, decorations provided, however, it was listed in the contract

Back window of limo was completely brokenDesired Settlement: I do not expect a total refund, but would accept a 50% reduction. This experience totally ruined by Mother's 90th birthday celebration. She has never ridden in a limo, and this was a disgrace. You need to shut them down so there is not another victim.

Review: The service I received from Pacific Limo and Tour, Inc. was not acceptable and did not fulfill the contract specifications. Additionally this company is operating without a valid business license. The limo that I contracted and expected to see on the day of my daughters quinceaneara was supposed to be white, decorated in white and pink and to have a supply of apple cider and water. The company claimed the limo that was prepared for the occasion broke down and they sent a replacement vehicle 45 minutes late that was old, dirty, with ripped seats, rust stains, and with a malfunctioning stereo system. Additionally, the limo was not decorated for the occasion and it did have any of the refreshments that were promised. I was notified by the limo driver a few minutes before pick up time that the limo broke down and they were sending another limo over and that it was going to be an upgrade as it was the best one on their fleet. Dispatch never contacted me or answered the telephone as I wanted to verify the information I was being given by the caller. This company has a history of providing terrible customer service and for sending vehicles that are not operating properly and/or in terrible condition. Many complaints have been posted on Yelp and on the consumer complaint websites. This company counts on customers being stranded and forced to take the subpar transportation they send. This company is purposely being deceitful as they list an inaccurate business address so that they can get away without having a business license. The address that is listed on the invoice is for an apartment complex in the City of Oceanside; the Facebook address has the same street address but they list the City as Vista; on their website they list the business in San Diego; and on their PUC permit the company lists their physical address to the apartment complex in Oceanside. I have confirmed with the City of Oceanside that they DO NOT have a business license. This company is charging me $200 dollars for the subpar service I received. I was forced to take the limo as my daughter and her seven friends were left stranded. The limo was only used for less than hour as I chose to terminate the service when I grew increasingly concerned over the safety of the limo and the refusal of the drive to provide me with identification. I was unable to contact dispatch to complain about the driver as they were not answering the telephone. I contacted the company shortly after the incident and attempted to resolve this issue with them but the manager was abusive and confrontational and refused to refund the $100 I was requesting. He kept repeating and yelling that they had gone out of their way to decorate the limo that broke down and that I should have been grateful they sent a replacement. This response appears to be his typical response to those customers who have complained about the same issue I had (as evidenced by Yelp postings and other complaint websites). They clearly are out to deceive customers as they frequently do a bait and switch and send over subpar vehicles that should not be in operation. The hourly rate listed on my contract was $91.67 per hour. I felt it was fair to pay them one hour and hoped to reach an agreement with the company. However, after his abusive treatment and the fact that they are operating without a business license I am demanding a full refund from them.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $200.
