Review: The Shoreline, WA branch of Pacific NW Medical scammed me by saying the little card reader machine on the counter was a debit card machine.When I checked my bank account later that night it was listed as an ATM withdrawal. My bank like many other banks charges me for not using their branded ATM's, therefore I do not. I called the Shoreline branch, where this transaction took place and asked them why there weren't any signs, or why the 2 gentlemen helping me didn't mention it at all. The receptionist told me that she would mail me out a refund. The refund never came. I called my bank the same day and asked the legality of this issue and there response was that it is illegal to have an ATM that is not marked as an ATM, my bank said they are required to have it listed somewhere the fee they charge and that your financial institution may charge you as well for using this ATM. None of that was there and no one said a thing to me. I then called Spokane Branch, where the owner is, and the women there told me that they should have told me it was an ATM and yes they should have signs up etc. and that she was sorry and that she'd have the manager call me. NO ONE HAS CALLED ME, the refund never came and when I called back to the Spokane location this morning to give them another chance the answering machine even states "We take debit cards" that's when I knew that I need to do more because this is a scam. I've never in my life had this happen to me and when you're vulnerable and just trying to manage your Rheumatoid Arthritis and fibromyalgia it's very distressing. They are taking advantage of people and it's just not right. It's a scam and illegal per the bank so I really hope this gets taken care of, if not for me personally for the future medical patients who are brave enough to venture in to such a place. If the Revdex.com can't resolve then my only other option is to go to the authorities. PUT UP SIGNS LET PEOPLE DECIDE WHETHER OR NOT THEY WANT TO GET USE AN ITEM TO DISGUISE IT AS A CARD READER. (which that's all it was, was a card reader on the counter) The total charge was $15.99 that's why I don't see an issue and when I first called them all I was only asking for was the $1.00 that my bank charges me when I use a non-citybank ATM.
