Good evening, I wish to amend my complaint (# [redacted] ) against University Retirement Community (URC) After further research, I see that URC has a statement of patient rights where they are required to pay interest on patient funds deposited to them For resolution of my complaint, I am requesting URC pay $in interest, in addition to the $2,they owe in the original complaint, and the apology I requested earlier todayThis calculation is based on the provisions of CFR, Title 42, Chapter IV, Part 483, Section "Resident Rights" and uses the same ten percent interest rate charged by URC The calculation assumes URC will pay by the end of February 2018, and would increase or decrease based on when they deliver the refund checkDeposits of personal funds: $10,deposited on 11/21/for days at 10% annual rate (not compounded daily) $1,deposited on 12/4/for days at 10% annual rate (not compounded daily) Thank you for your assistance in this matter If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact meJohn K [redacted] home [redacted] @comcast.net
