My Father had the worst possible experience with Pacific Shuttles. Dennis Jacopetti is a dishonest man who refused and still is refusing to give my father Alfredo Garcia the $5,000.00 dollar deposit back. Like another person before my father he received a check that had no funds. Dennis promised my father that he would give the money back. For several months he failed to do so. Until finally my father went to the location of the business in Lodi, CA. Only to have one of his employees strike him down with great force. My father ended up in the hospital and now has a $8,000.00 dollar bill from the hospital. We have gone to small claims to fight for the money. Dennis Jacopetti did not even bother to show up and we won the case. Now we have to pay someone to get my father`s hard earned money back from he hands of this thief.

Review: Purchased a vehicle on 7/25/14, with a written contract that included a 30 day warranty of major components. I picked it up about 10pm 8/3/14, after finally getting the seller to meet me. That same night on I-5 south it overheated on the grapevine. I reported this to the seller. On 8/5/14, it again overheated at speeds over 62mph, and reported to seller. In the early hours of 8/6/14, on the way to Phoenix Arizona on I-10, it broke down in Blythe, AZ. It has been at [redacted] since 8/6/14. This mechanic was recommended by a trusted resource. The mechanic has faxed the estimate and sent via fedex to the seller, but he refuses to provide payment.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my $7,500 purchase price or payment to the mechanic to make the vehicle functional.

Review: "Pacific Shuttles, Inc" committed fraud on several different levels in regards to this sale.

On 6/20/13 I received a proposal to purchase a vehicle from "Pacific Shuttles, Inc" (23 N. Cherokee Lane, Lodi, CA 95240). The purchase price for this vehicle was $6,400. On the proposal ( attached) was indicated that all "State Sales tax, transfer fees, and Registration for 2013-2014 would be paid".

A couple weeks after receiving the vehicle, I received title, plates, and valid registration for the vehicle. I even received an additional refund of $156 for overpayment of fees that "Pacific Shuttles, Inc." sent.

The first day after using the vehicle, we noticed heavy smoke coming out of the vehicle. We sent the vehicle to a mechanic that told us that the catalytic converter on the vehicle was completely plugged. He also noticed that there were holes in the converter. In this process, we spent over $600 repairing the issues. We spent an additional $250 for a tune-up. We attempted to contact "Pacific Shuttles, Inc" ( Who claimed to be a dealer of commercial vehicles) to resolve these issues. When we could not get a hold of them, we contacted the Department of Consumer Affairs to submit a complaint. While speaking with them, they discovered that the mileage information we had from the DMV transfer agreement provided to us from "Pacific Shuttles" was incorrect. "Pacific Shuttles" indicated that the vehicle mileage was 236,602. The Department of Consumer Affairs informed me that the mileage was in fact over 350,000.

I contacted "Pacific Shuttles, Inc" with this new fraudulent information. "Pacific Shuttles, Inc" offered to take back the vehicle and return to me the original purchase price. However, I demanded that "Pacific Shuttles" reimburse me for the amount I spent on repairs as well. Then, "Pacific Shuttles" offered to replace the vehicle with a different one, but I refused to take a Diesel Vehicle. Then, "Pacific Shuttles" offered to replace the catalytic converter and to provide me a newer engine which I agreed to. "Pacific Shuttles" never fulfilled their offer, and has stopped answering any sort of communication requests.

On 9/16/2013 I received a "Demand of Payment" letter from the DMV requesting I pay them $782. This amount was for unpaid registration on the vehicle. When I called the DMV, they informed me that the initial check they received from "Pacific Shuttles, Inc" for registration fees had bounced and that because I was the registered owner of the vehicle I would not have to pay the registration and an additional $400 in penalties and fees.

"Pacific Shuttles, Inc" committed fraud on several different levels in regards to this sale. It is ridiculous that I need to not only be a victim of this fraud, but now be penalized on top of that. I would kindly request that someone open an investigation into "Pacific Shuttles" and assist me in resolving this issue.

I can provide you with all communication and documentation in regards to this vehicle.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (XXX)XXX-XXXX.

Thank You

Desired Settlement: Refund for all business loses, bus purchase and court fees.

Review: I paid $4,900 in full for a shuttle bus. It has been over 30 days and Pacific Shuttle has not given me my bus.

Despite numerous calls to Pacific Shuttle, we were told that the delay was because they were waiting for the seats from another bus to arrive so they could install them. The next delay was that the bus could not be registered to us as a previous user had parking tickets and they had to go to court. The next delay was the owner was out of town.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund
