If any mention of nickel allergies were mentioned at the time of purchase we would have encouraged an alternative metal to white gold, such as platinum or palladium. These metals are more expensive, but are considered hypoallergenic. The white gold rings purchased were plated with
rhodium, which is the industry standard for making white gold have a beautiful white sheen. The rhodium plate can also alleviate allergies associated with the alloys; however, this is not a permanent solution and was never discussed because we were not made aware of any allergy issues.The custom ring design was approved by *** before we completed the work - this is a luxury of CAD, computer aided design.We are a small family owned jeweler, in business for almost years and pride ourselves in taking care of everyone like family. I spoke to *** several times after the initial sale and he came across not only content, but happy with the sale. If *** would contact me at the store (***) - I think an amicable resolution could easily be found. If the original sale merchandise is still in original condition - I would be happy to offer a full refund.
