I was looking around the greater Las Vegas for an assist living home as I have physical problems and need that kind of service on August 10, 2019.
When I found this company, Pacifica they gave me all the right answers and could meet my move in date at the apartment that I would be assigned would be no problem meeting the date. What was a firm date that I have to move from my old place on September 29, 2019.The The agreement was verbal and all the concessions they made was contingency of upper management approval of the agreement per Mr.. A $500.00 upfront financial REFUNDABLE cost was required and I drove to/from my bank to secure the bank check and gave to Mr..
Without my knowledge this is where the problems began. Pacifica Mr. Kiel *** was between upper management bosses and he had no way of going forward on the agreement we verbally made because there was no one to sign off on the agreement or the person left in charge (assuming by me) said no to the deal and Mr. was trying to work it out Rather than telling me what was going on they went into a stall tactic not returning my calls. While all this was going on I was working with Veterans Administration to get a Pension to help me bridge the gap between the cost of assisted living and my income. VA assisted me with the forms necessary and concluded I need 1 final form to be filed out by the place, Pacifica, that I had selected which was in the form of a what is the agreement between the vet and the company, Pacifica. Pacifica would not fill it out because, first they just didn't say anything then after pressure from me they took the position that I had not moved in therefore they cannot fill it out until I move in. VA position was no agreement between the veteran and the company, Pacifica then my request for assistance was turned down.
I have asked on 2 separate occasions for my $500.00 to be returned but have not heard nothing in return. I even offered that they send me $400.00 and keep $100.0 for the (like) of service. No response so that offer is off the table. Looking for my $500.00 cash deposit to be returned ASAP.

Pacifica San Martin never cashed the Cashiers Check that Mr. gave to Pacifica San Martin. The business manager that was previously here never deposited the cashier's check into our account.
We called *** bank and a teller there stated that the cashiers check was never cashed. The teller stated that Mr. would need to call *** bank and they would walk him through how to get a refund.
On 5/7/2020 Pacifica San Martin, called Mr. to inform him that we never cashed his cashier's check and we called the bank to see if it was cashed, the bank teller stated that she does not see that the cashier's check has ever been cashed.
I believe this is resolved.

Trina *** (think cfo) at Pacific Senior living called me. She said that the $500.00 Bank check that they received from me back in Aug 2019 had not been cashed by them. They do not have the check but did call *** Bank to see if it had been cashed and *** confirmed that it had not. So 9 month later we find out that the check is basically lost. *** Bank agreed tdo reimburse me for the full amount because of the time involved. CPicked up my $500.00 today from *** CASE CLOSED
