There servers got misconfigured, so I contacted their tech support asking to bring them back upThey took days to respondIn that time, they managed to lose the orginal files AND the backup! So after days of spending hours a day online with them (aka ***), and after "I`m sorry for the inconvenience" ( I counted) they managed to bring up most of my sites, but one is gone, and the other lost the database which I had been working hard at cultivating user`s recommendationsThey then had the audacity to tell me that I should be responsible for making backups, not them! What do I pay them for? They are a hosting company, that managed to lose the original and the backup both within days! Pacific Host used to be good until 2012, then their service went south, to a point where almost every month I would have some drama that I really dont want to have in my life or on my sitesI have transcripts to prove all these conversations with their tech support

So after 12 days of spending 8 hours a day online with them (aka [redacted]), and after 173 "I`m sorry for the inconvenience" ( I counted) they managed to bring up most of my sites, but one is gone, and the other lost the database which I had been working hard at cultivating user`s recommendations. They then had the audacity to tell me that I should be responsible for making backups, not them! What do I pay them for? They are a hosting company, that managed to lose the original and the backup both within 5 days! Pacific Host used to be good until 2012, then their service went south, to a point where almost every month I would have some drama that I really dont want to have in my life or on my sites. I have 23 transcripts to prove all these conversations with their tech support.

Review: Their site was malfunctioning giving a error that wouldn't let me get the epp code for my domain. I type in a new email for the domain and the site would give a error and wouldnt let me change it. In turn my domain expired and I couldn't transfer it to another hosting company in time. They wouldn't help me get the epp code either. They kept making me answer numerous security questions after I already answered two questions. They were just buying time so my domain expires & I am forced to renew it with them for the ridiculous price of $30 A YEAR. SO I ending of having to do that because of their malfunctioning website and shady business practices. I had my support tickets left open for 3 days with no concern to reply to me. I will NEVER do business with this company again.Desired Settlement: I would like my $30 back because I could of transferred the domain to namecheap in time if their site was working like it should.
