Paddock Village Apartments Reviews (4)

There has been a change in employee staffing at Paddock Village Apartments, so *** ***, Director with The Lipton Group, spoke with Ms*** this morning. Ms*** stated that she would prefer to stay in her apartment home at Paddock Village as long as we replace the window in the
third bedroom and replace the blinds in her kitchen. We agreed to do both. The service manager at Paddock Village Apartments measured her bedroom window last week and has ordered the new window. The kitchen blinds will also be replaced this week. *** *** gave Ms*** her direct phone number and email address in the event that she has any additional concerns.Attached is the original response from the property manager who was working at Paddock Village in August and September of 2017. Please find the attached move in checklist that attests to the condition of the apartment at move in.After speaking with the Ms***, she agreed that she would like to stay in her home at Paddock Village and no longer requests to break her leases early. Thank you

To Whom It May Concern:I am completely caught off guard by her response.  I personally spoke with Ms. [redacted] on Monday, October 9th to address her concerns.  I asked her if she would prefer to be let out of her lease or if we could fix the items in her apartment.  She stated that she would like to stay in her apartment and fix two items of concern, which were replacing the window in the 3rd bedroom and installing new blinds in her kitchen.  I agreed to both.  She was happy with this agreement and said that she likes the floor plan of the apartment and that she would be happy to stay at Paddock Village.  I gave her my email address and phone number to contact me, if she had any additional concerns. She did not mention the door to her bathroom.  I informed her that we were ordering her window for the third bedroom.  The service manager ordered the blinds for her kitchen.A representative from the management company drove the property on Monday, October 9th and looked at all trash dumpsters and took photos.  There were no items outside of the trash dumpsters (see attached photos).  We have addressed all of Ms. [redacted]'s concerns.  She has stated to the Director over the property that she does not want out of her lease.  She just wants the two maintenance items to be taken care of in her home, as well as the trash to be kept up.  Thank you.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
There is still trash throughout the apartment complex. Which is where the initial issues lies. There is a haul away long dumpster at the complex, and yet there is trash outside of every dumpster location which in unsanitary. When maintenance clears an empty apartment when a resident moves out the waste is stashed at various dumpster locations - its very unsightly and poses an unsanitary condition. I called in the 3rd bdrm window last week and after NOT receiving a callback within 48hrs I made a stop by the leasing office just to be told that someone would get back with me. No one has come to the unit to take measurements or to see the condition of the window which I explained was a safety issue and now the bedroom isn't in use. The blinds were one of many things that I was told would be replaced when I moved in. The 2nd bathroom door needs to be replaced and the screens on all the window and patio, and balcony doors need to be replaced. Along with the track that lines the master bedroom closet. I still look to be given relocation fee's and not to be penalized if/when I break the lease.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
